Hairspray that gets rid of greasy hair?

ok i was watching 'how to look good naked' a while ago and i just remembered there was this product on it that you put on your greasy hair and brush it out and your hair looks like it's just been washed i think its some kind of hairspray or something but i'm unsure anyone know what it is? :)

Hairspray that gets rid of greasy hair?

You can use a little bit of talcum powder. Some folk say that you can only use this if you are blonde but I have known people with dark brown hair to use it without any problems. Just remember a little goes a long way and make sure it's all combed in, you don't want to go out with grey hair.

The sort of thing you were referring to is a dry shampoo. Batiste does a good one that you can get for 鎷? from Boots or Superdrug. There are others but they're more expensive. Just spray some in and comb it through to freshen up your hair.

Hairspray that gets rid of greasy hair?

idk i wish i knew but nothing is as good as a cleansing shampoo......

if u can i would really appreciate it if u could go on http://www.americasfavoritemom.com:80/mo... once a day and vote for my mom. She is a great women and really deserves your vote. It is really easy to do.

Hairspray that gets rid of greasy hair?

I havent seen the programme but I use something that ytou spray in your hair when its in need of a rinse but you havent had time/it was hot on the tube and your hairs not great anymore, its called 'dry hair shampoo' and boots sell one by james brown in that kate moss's hair stylists hair collection. or it could be in that 'model me' collection boots sell by toni and guy (the one with jamelia, helena christianson and erin o'conner in it) It has a fragrence so see if you like it first- I dont like the smell so now have to make sure I wash my hair everyday!

Hairspray that gets rid of greasy hair?

wash ru hair and put shampoo on 2 times!!

Hairspray that gets rid of greasy hair?

hairsparay makes your hair greassy

Hairspray that gets rid of greasy hair?

1. Trying going to the shows website and seeing if you can search for the product.

2. If it is just a lil' bit of grease, you can take some baby powder and put it on a blush brush and blot it on your roots. The grease with absorb the powder making it look less greasy.

Hairspray that gets rid of greasy hair?

Well, hairspray is actually made out of oils! So, it can't be a hairspray. Maybe its like a leave in conditioner or something! =)

Hairspray that gets rid of greasy hair?

There's no hairspray that can do the trick but putting powder foundation on your hair makes it less noticable because it absorbs it

Hairspray that gets rid of greasy hair?

Here is a tip, try using an inexpensive talcum powder. Cover a soft brush with a tissue [man sized is better] and very lightly coat with the talc then brush lightly through the hair from roots to tips. The tissue will absorb the grease. Don't do it more than once between washes or you'll get build up.

Great for a quick fix.

Hairspray that gets rid of greasy hair?

I didn't watch How to Look Good Naked, but I think your talking about dry shampoo.

Dry shampoo is in an aerosol can like hairspray. You basically spray it onto your hair and brush it out really.

You can buy a cheap one for only about 鎷?.50 from Superdrug and they do more expensive ones as well.

%26lt;3

Hairspray that gets rid of greasy hair?

Hairspray makes hair greasier, what they must've been talking about is talc powder. You smooth abit on greasy hair and brush it out with soft brush, i do this regularly when i don't have time to wash my hair. It's quite good.

Anyone know of a good powder brush that won't shed as much?

I'm entirely sick of picking black brush hairs off my face after using my powder. I only use MAC for makeup so I bought a MAC powder brush a while back ($40) and have hated it ever since. I find it to be no better than a $5 brush from Target. I washed it recently (gently) with Bed Head body wash and it got much worse. Not only more hairs come out but it also doesn't seem to retain any powder now. Any ideas of a really good (low to moderately expensive) brush I can buy? Thanks!

Anyone know of a good powder brush that won't shed as much?

that brush sounds like a dud. I'd call MAC and tell them what is happening.

Don't use body wash for your good brushes.

Anyone know of a good powder brush that won't shed as much?

Bare Minerals brushes are excellent (Ulta sells them).

Anyone know of a good powder brush that won't shed as much?

Anything from Bare Minerals should work perfectly. My mom and sister use that make up and their favorite brush is the Kabooki (sp?) brush.

Anyone know of a good powder brush that won't shed as much?

Get your brushes from Bee-Luscious. They are REAL professional brushes. Also ONLY use a good brush wash. Anything else may harm the bristles. The Bee-Luscious brushes are the best, you will love them.

How can i clean my makeup brushes?

I have nice new 'made from real hair' makeup brushes that i use with my mineral foundation. I'm nervous about washing them with something that could be damaging, ruin the texture, or cause me to break out (since i am very prone to acne). I also would like a home remedy if at all possible, something i might have in the house. altho, i would not be opposed to any suggestions on a good brand of brush cleanser if any of you know of one.

How can i clean my makeup brushes?

You can wash your makeup brushes in warm, soapy water, using an antibacterial soap, shampoo or a hand sanitizer. There are also special products for cleaning your makeup brushes. Lipstick brushes may need extra care because of the extra emollients in lip colors, which can make them sticky and hard to wash. Wash them with a gentle oil removing wash you may already use for your skin, and take your time, working out the lipstick from the brush bristles.

Shape brushes while wet and let them dry to preserve their smoothness. Lay them flat instead of standing them on end, or you will damage either the bristles or handle of the brush. Wash them gently, never scrubbing, or the hairs will start to come out. Follow any cleaning instructions that come with your makeup brushes in case they have special requirements. And if you can't make up your mind to commit to cleaning your brushes, you can always buy disposable sponge brushes and throw them away more frequently. Especially if you suffer from very oily skin or acne, make sure you're always using a clean makeup brush to minimize bacterial problems that may increase your skin trouble.

How can i clean my makeup brushes?

try just getting a wet wash cloth and rub the brush on it. dont put too much pressure that it would damage it.

How can i clean my makeup brushes?

go to sephora they have some good products to clean your make up burshes..

How can i clean my makeup brushes?

I use baby shampoo to clean my makeup brushes.

How can i clean my makeup brushes?

I've heard baby shampoo, and try not to get the handle wet if possible.

How can i clean my makeup brushes?

i use regular shampoo and then i blow dry the hairs out on a low heat. it works wonders eliminates the oils and allows for an even application.

How can i clean my makeup brushes?

With real hair brushes you should wash baby shampoo, %26amp; a little condtioner. That is what I was told when I bought mine from the MAC store.

How can i clean my makeup brushes?

I use antibacterial soap on mine.

How can i clean my makeup brushes?

You can check out Cindy Crawford's tips on cleansing brushes in the source.

How can i clean my makeup brushes?

1) Antibacterial soap

2) DO NOT get the handle wet (I messed up my best MAC eyebrush that way!)

3) Squeeze excess water and shake the bristles so they are loose when air drying.

4) Lay flat on the counter to air dry

Quick fix...Is it safe to run a bounce dryer sheet over your hair to remove static?

Don't LAUGH!!! It's driving me crazy, sticking to my face and making little shocks when I brush it away...reaching out every which way for something to cling to...

Quick fix...Is it safe to run a bounce dryer sheet over your hair to remove static?

Yes, it works quite well too. I like using the baby powder smelling kinds.

Quick fix...Is it safe to run a bounce dryer sheet over your hair to remove static?

Yes, it's perfectly fine.

Your hair will smell really good.

It will make your hair look a little dull though, but it isn't that noticable unless your hair is already oily.

Quick fix...Is it safe to run a bounce dryer sheet over your hair to remove static?

LOL, I've done it a time or to. A great way to combat that is to leave a little conditioner in your hair after you wash it. Either way, your hair will smell winter fresh!

Quick fix...Is it safe to run a bounce dryer sheet over your hair to remove static?

It doesn't hurt at all %26amp; it works pretty well also

Quick fix...Is it safe to run a bounce dryer sheet over your hair to remove static?

I've never tried this but I suppose it would work. Why don't you buy a little tube of serum instead? It only costs about 鎷? from the chemist and doesn't have to be any special brand. Use some once you've finished drying/styling your hair and carry it with you throughout the day in your bag to smooth it down. Hope I helped! Lulu x

Quick fix...Is it safe to run a bounce dryer sheet over your hair to remove static?

Try the shine spray stuff, it has silicone in it which will provide a buffer layer against static, plus makes you hair really shiny:) Just light mist over the head, too much or getting too close while spraying will make your hair look greasy

Quick fix...Is it safe to run a bounce dryer sheet over your hair to remove static?

wish my hair was long enough to find out lol xx

Is a lab a bad dog to have if someone in your family has allgeries to dog hair?

Even if you brush him/her everyday and keep them clean

Is a lab a bad dog to have if someone in your family has allgeries to dog hair?

Yes, because most of the time the person is not only allergic to the hair, they are allergic to the dander of the dog. Labs shed quite a bit and the hair is small and easily inhaled and gets on clothing. I would recomend a dog such and a yorkie or if you want a bigger dog a standard poodle, those do not shed. I am allergic to dogs but have 4 of my own. and find that long haired dogs such as golden retrievers dont bug me as much because the dander cant directly get on me and nor can the hair easily be inhaled.

Is a lab a bad dog to have if someone in your family has allgeries to dog hair?

It's not any worse than any other dog. However, your best bet would be a dog that sheds little or not at all. There are a few breeds that are like that. I have allergies and dogs, and I just suffer through the allergies and continue to love the dogs! It's tough though, sometimes....

Good luck.

Steve

Is a lab a bad dog to have if someone in your family has allgeries to dog hair?

Any dog is bad to have if a family member has allergies. There is a shampoo you can buy but you will have to bathe the dog often and the person still might have allergies towards the dog.

Is a lab a bad dog to have if someone in your family has allgeries to dog hair?

it doesn't matter what you do a dog is a dog know matter what breed. the person is allergic to dogs period

Is a lab a bad dog to have if someone in your family has allgeries to dog hair?

Any dog is probably bad to have if someone in the house has allergies to them; but I would think a short haired breed would be better due to the fact that there is much less shedding involved. But, if you're brushing the lab rigorously and ridding excess hair before it becomes extraneous, it might be okay. And there's always allergy medicine.....

Is a lab a bad dog to have if someone in your family has allgeries to dog hair?

A Bichon Frise is a good dog for people with allergies. Although they do resemble a white, puffy poodle.

Is a lab a bad dog to have if someone in your family has allgeries to dog hair?

well yeah its still dog hair. but if u dont have any side effects. like i am allergic to cat seliva and i hold my cat but it dont bother me

Is a lab a bad dog to have if someone in your family has allgeries to dog hair?

Technically it is the dander from the dog's skin and not the hair that causes the allergy. I am allergic to all haired animals.

I always wash my hands after handling animals, and make sure that I do not touch my face or eyes because that tends to irritate the allergy.

Depending on the severity of the allergy a person may or may not be able to live with them in the house. Homes with lots of carpet and cloth furniture will retain lots of dander. Homes with bare floors and wood furniture will be easier.

Desensitizing shots can be done to reduce or eliminate allergies. These can be expensive and require many shots over a period of months.

Is a lab a bad dog to have if someone in your family has allgeries to dog hair?

Labs aren't a good choice since they frequently shed their downy undercoat(even though it seems really short!!) Curly coated dogs like water spaniels, curly coated retrievers, poodles,il etc. because they dont shed ANY fur, however, you will need to clip its fur regularly

What are ways I can keep my hair from being frizzy?

I have Fine, stright, long hair.but its also frizzy.I blowdry my hair and brush it but thats all i do because gel and hairspray dont work in my hair that well. What are some good ways to keep my hair less frizzy?

What are ways I can keep my hair from being frizzy?

Try using John Frieda Frizz-Ease serum. I had the same problem you do when my hair was straight and this stuff worked. You can also use the other Frizz-Ease products, there's shampoo, conditioner, mousse, spray, gel, the serum. They have it for straight hair and curly hair. Good Luck!

What are ways I can keep my hair from being frizzy?

Try using mink oil. it prevents frizz and makes your hair shinny and soft. Or better yet try isoplus hair spray. Da bomb!!!!

What are ways I can keep my hair from being frizzy?

There is a brand called Frizzeze or try some serums on the market. Your hairdresser should be able to advice you.

What are ways I can keep my hair from being frizzy?

john freida frizz ease extra strength is my hero!! lol try it =)

What are ways I can keep my hair from being frizzy?

make sure that when you get out of the shower, don't rub your hair with a terrycloth towel - that makes it really frizzy. i would try just soaking up the water with paper towels .. also just keep your hands off your hair.

ive also heard of dry hair wax that you can probably get a drugstore to tame flyaways.

What are ways I can keep my hair from being frizzy?

VO5 hairdressing. Use just a tiny bit and rub it between your palms and smooth over your hair. Wash hands, then use a straightening iron to melt into the hair shaft where it's dry and causing it to "puff" or "frizz".

Or if the V05 is too heavy (you have caucasian hair right?) try Aussie mousse instead of V05, and follow the rest above.

I also recommend Aussie Moist Shampoo and conditioner.

What are ways I can keep my hair from being frizzy?

Frizzy hair is DRY hair.

Start using some spray on/leave in conditioner after you wash and deep condition in the shower. Use only HIGH quality moisturizing shampoo and conditioner (found at salons), not OTC brands. Towel dry before the spray on conditioner, by squeezing or patting your hair, dont rub it.

Use the lower heat setting on your dryer, and dont burn your hair.

Use a brush with the little balls on the ends.

Try a little frizz taming spray if you still have issues, also get this at the salon, not OTC (Over The Counter). Use this AFTER the spray on /leave in conditioner.

What are ways I can keep my hair from being frizzy?

De frizz put a hat on when its humid

Ok... A student, (17 year old highwho I know has a crush on me, touched my hair today... What do I s

it caught me off guard, so I didn't say anything. Is it something I should/can just brush off, or should I talk to him tomorrow?

Ok... A student, (17 year old highwho I know has a crush on me, touched my hair today... What do I say to him?

I would talk to him about that. I woudent brush it off becouse then he would think it as okay.

Ok... A student, (17 year old highwho I know has a crush on me, touched my hair today... What do I say to him?

you figure it out

Ok... A student, (17 year old highwho I know has a crush on me, touched my hair today... What do I say to him?

HE LIKES YOU!!!!!!!

Guys like to get physical and touch simple parts like hair or legs. It is in their nature and he really likes you. If you like him, then pat his shoulder about 3 times with a warm hand. It will show him that you like him. Do it while you are complimenting him. It will make him feel comfortable around you and boost his self esteem. Careful not to pat too hard!

Do you think his hair will straighten out?

My daughter's puppy is about 10-12 weeks old now. He's a shih-tzu/chihuahua mix and he has really fluffy- curly like hair. We brush him twice daily, just like we do our cocker, but I'm wondering if his hair will get straighter when he gets older or if it will always be curly. Does anyone have any experience with this? If I'm right, both shih-tzus and longhair chihuahuas have straight hair- so there's no real reason his should be curly when he's an adult, is there?

Do you think his hair will straighten out?

Oh! That's normal for a dog like that!

My aunt had a dog like that but white it's really cute and curly!

Better have a curly dog than nothing of that!

Do you think his hair will straighten out?

His heair will probably stay the same as it is now. All the Shih-tzu X's I have seen (pup %26amp; adult) have that sort of coat.

Do you think his hair will straighten out?

That's a cute dog and its ok if it's curly, it is his natural hair and doesn't needs to be straight, besides curly are cuter(imagine poodles with straight hair)

Do you think his hair will straighten out?

I'd say his hair will remain the same for the rest of his life. That type of hair is normal for the breed. your puppy is adorable

Do you think his hair will straighten out?

I have a shih tzu and pups are always curly when they are young. Long hair chihuahua's have more of straight hair. So I would say as he gets older it should be straighter then it is now. I would even talk to a groomer, one at a petco or pet smart. They can be a bit easier to bring your dog there and talk to them. Around 6 months old you could get a trim and that could help get rid of the pup curl. By then what ever he has will stay. I understand it can be hard to care for. I think during the winter it seems to frizz more. Do you use a mist of spray on conditioner for pets? That can help if is get out of hand.

Is there anything I can do to make my hair healthier?

I have dyed my hair blond like 7 times (or more, I lost count) and I started doing highlights and it really started drying out my hair so I dyed it darker and it looks horrible I tried to dye it blond again but it just wont go blond. Its really really really dry and unhealthy looking. I cut off 4 inches to get as much of the dyed hair off. What kind of products can I use to make my hair healthier? Any special conditioners or hair treatments? I cant even blow dry my hair or brush it too much without it getting all frizzy and looking fried. Help!!

Is there anything I can do to make my hair healthier?

I suggest you go to a decent salon and have a shorter style and leave the dying alone. Your current hair is f*cked now.

You need to use special shamppos that are for ultra dry hair and the related treatments to improve the current condtion and stop it from breaking off. You need a deep treatment on it once a week. Try not to use hairdryer or any other heat tools as much as possible allow it to dry naturally. It can break whilst wet so take care when washing.

The best products are Keratase and the herb based range called Phyto which has a shampoo and treatments for ultra dry hair - they are expensive though but worth it.

You are lucky your hair has not dropped out completely.

Is there anything I can do to make my hair healthier?

STOP DYING IT!!!!!!!!!! sorry bout the caps, but you RUIN your hair!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cut it pretty short, and let it grow out again. DO NOT DYE FOR A WHILE. you have to let it....... start over.

Is there anything I can do to make my hair healthier?

hot oil (olive) treatments and stop with the heat and chemicals! use mild shampoos and conditioners with natural extracts ok. your hair needs a lot of water for general welllbeing and u should give your head/ scalp a massage often. promotes circulation

Is there anything I can do to make my hair healthier?

I'd reccommend that you go to a hairdresser's and treat yourself to an hair treatment....

or if you're as broke as i am just use aussie 3 minute miracle as your conditioner, and use their leave in conditoner as welll

Is there anything I can do to make my hair healthier?

Replenishing shampoo and conditioner for a start. I think John Frieda has a nice one?

Don't put unnecessary products in AT ALL.

Definitely no hot straightening or curling, at least for a while.

And duh, no dying.

Tea tree oil is amazing, gives shine, boost, health, everything.

Just rub a little bit in before you go to bed or a while before you wash your hair.

Is there anything I can do to make my hair healthier?

umm first of all if you keep bleaching your hair its going to fall out, and the worst thing you can do is go from black to blonde because you have to put alot of bleach in your hair to get it back to the blonde you wanted it and now that you dyed your hair from black to blonde your hair will always grow back alot darker, don't do anything to your hair for awhile and like for now just wear it wet and scrunch it with jell or wear it up, blow drying fries your hair no matter what and brushing it breaks it because you know how you get knots in your hair well brushing through it just breaks your hair where the knots are.

Is there anything I can do to make my hair healthier?

Stop dying, blowdrying, flat ironing, basically anything you are doing that is damaging your hair has to stop. There is no miracle cure product to fix your hair. Grow it out, let it air dry, comb it with your fingers.

Is there anything I can do to make my hair healthier?

When my hair was at it's worst condition ever after having to take a lot of medications following surgery, the products that moisturized and helped my hair the most were from BioSilk.

Is there anything I can do to make my hair healthier?

once in a blue moon i put baby oil on my hair overnight, then next day i put shampoo on my hair without water rubbing it through, then i rinse with water and shampoo an rinse a couple more times. hair feels fantastic after doing that

Is there anything I can do to make my hair healthier?

Obviously, stop bleaching/drying/using chemical treatments. Cut your hair as short as you can so that you don't have to dry it with a blowdrier. Don't wash hair every day--cover it with a shower cap every other day. On those days, use a little coconut oil (a teensy bit works well) and leave it in your hair as a conditioner; coconut oil can be found at Indian/Pakistani grocery stores--just ask for Vatika's Coconut Oil.

Use a gentle and moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Try Dove's advanced care in the dark blue bottle. Once a week, use a protein-filled treatment for your hair (Redken's Deep Feul). Use Redken's Extreme Anti-Snap as a leave-in on days you wash your hair.

Nothing will work instantly, you have to give these things time to work.

Is there anything I can do to make my hair healthier?

you can get vitamin suppliments to help new hair growth.

Check out boots or superdrug

Is there anything I can do to make my hair healthier?

oh my this so sounds like me did the same bleeched my hair so so many times got so dry and damaged i went dark to prevent bleeching and then hated that so went back blonde sound the ame hey !!! well i bleeched my hair even though it was ruined and then went to the hairdressers and got the best chop ever short and spiky at the back and longer on the sides it looks really cool can style in so many ways and now my hair is super the colour i want and good condition now growing it!!!

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

my friend told me that if your hair is greecy you can put baby powder in your hair and brush it through very well. my hair is greccy right now and i dont have enough time to take a shower.

HELP!!!

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

Hey hey! Yeah it does work well with water.

And stephanie B should learn how to spell learn.

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

You're welcome Brittany. LOL We haven't talked for a very long time! Love you and have a great thanksgiving !!! %26lt;33333 Report It

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

Yes. Just don't use too much

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

Yes, this works very well, just don't put too much in. Better to do twice than too much first time

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

yes it works like water if you put baby powder

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

yup works.. another good one is.. the top of the hair wash. i do this all the time.. especially after a night out and work the next day. Take the top section of your hair.. the fringe or front parts and the rest of the section and just washt that.. takes only a few mins to wash blow dry etc.. but yes.. baby powder works..

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

disgusting ,try getting up earlyer and washing it.

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

I think you should lean to spell greasy

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

OMG, i do that also, all you do is put a towel around your neck to keep the powder from getting on your clothes, then put the baby powder in your hair and comb it out. Spray some perfume in your hare to get rid of the smell. Good Luck!!!!!!

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

works well.

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

It's probably a better idea to put the powder on your brush, instead of dumping it on your hair. You could end up using too much powder that way, and it'll look like you have dandruff.

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

if u put on too much though it is such a mess and your hair will look all powdery and weird... and it'll still feel kind've gross.

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

Yep, it works well. Just be sure you don't apply too much.

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

U COULD DO THAT .OR YOU CAN JUST TIE UP IN A HIGH BUN.......

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

yess just rub a little at a time or else your hair will appear white.

i put i bit on a plate or something then dip my fingers in it and tap them on the side of plate to get rid of some powder. then rub into roots.

repeat this until your happy then brush hair

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

yeah, you can use it as a way to absorb the oil. But if you have dark hair, using white powder isn't always they best, but the company "Bumble n Bumble" makes a powder product in dark colors so that you don't have to use white powder. Hope that helps!

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

Its true but I'm not sure if it will work if it is very greasy, it also works better on blond or lighter hair than very dark. be sure to brush it into the hair and rub it off your scalp.

A lot of pageants and models use this trick too because it thickens your hair up

Baby powder and greecy hair.?

there isnt nothin u can really do wit out takin a shower..my mom's a har stylilst and she says that when u do take a shower add a hand full of baking soda in wit ur shampoo..rinse then wash wit jsut shampoo..it helps get all the hairspray and stuff out and leaves it really nice lookin..o and dont forget to condition

Greasy hair?

a little cheating tip i learned. put talcompwder on to the roots of your hair and brush through,it covers the grease and doesn't show, great for if your in a rush or just trying not too wash your hair too much. anyone know tips for anything else at all?

Greasy hair?

also washing your hair with egg white and vinegar can prevent greasy hair make sure you rinse well though wit h luke warm water otherwise it goes hard olive oil is good to but heat it up and then rinse well.. another cheating tip for spots dry them out with toothpaste over night it really works DONT GET IT IN YOUR EYES THOUGH ....

Greasy hair?

Of course in a pinch this may be ok you know they make a dry shampoo most people use if they can't wash their hair for a few days ..and years ago they used cornstarch to run through their hair to absorb the oil. Nothing substitutes thorough washing with shampoo Report It

Greasy hair?

you need proper hair care

Greasy hair?

Great tip! Thanks!

Greasy hair?

thanks wish i knew that one 20 years ago when i did have hair lol

Greasy hair?

corn starch does the same and is better for your lungs

Greasy hair?

ANOTHER GOOD TIP IS TO USE DISH DETERGENT EVERY THIRD OR FOURTH TIME.IT IS HARSHER THEN SHAMPOO IT WILL CUT THE GREASE...MOST OF THE REASONS WHY YOU HAVE OILY HAIR IS THAT YOUR SWEAT GLANDS PRODUCE MORE THAN SOMEONE WHO HAS DRY HAIR

Greasy hair?

well i straighten my hair and i can get away with it for the week at school but when it comes thursday it starts gettin greasy so u should blowdry it a little it will dry it out a little or you should just put it up and try not to touch it. (i still take like baths but not showers where i can get my hair wet because my mom cant do my hair to much were busy)

Greasy hair?

wash your hair with a better shampoo

Greasy hair?

beer and raw eggs leave 15 min and rinse lovely shiney hair!!!

Greasy hair?

that works pretty well

Greasy hair?

You can use baby powder too, just dip your comb or brush in some and run through your hair. Also, if you rinse your conditioner in cold water, I've heard that helps.

Greasy hair?

use baby shampoo prevents yout hair getting greasy as quick

Greasy hair?

I have a tip;

WASH YOUR HAIR.

Greasy hair?

take a shower and wash your hair with garnier fructis everyday and then blow dry and straighten or curl. either way works. guys hate greasy hair. cuz it makes it look like you put alot of products in ur hair which isn't good.

Greasy hair?

For greasy hair I recommend Pantene Pro V, it really helps to manage the greasyness of your hair as well as making it really shiny. The Ice shine one is the best I think... also try not washing your hair too often that could also be why your hair is building up extra greece... some hair treatments such as the Garner Fructus Hair Mask works really well also.

Greasy hair?

yep dat rite but its all not so good 2 put talcumpowder in ur hair coz wen u sweat(datz if u sweat on ur head)it will b dripping all white/creamy.its best 2 c a hair specialist or visit a hair website.

Greasy hair?

no no no,don't wash your hair with shampoo's 4 a week if you can just use warm water, if not use a splash of vinegar with your shampoo over washing your hair can damage it

Greasy hair?

Thanks for that tip will remember that! =)

My two year old daughter cant stand to get her hair washed!?

She will scream to the top of her lungs and i dont hurt her and she will not let me brush it but she will let other people...Why do you think that is?

My two year old daughter cant stand to get her hair washed!?

Both of my kids are like that. My son has been like that since about 2.5 and he will almost be 4 and he is still like that. Dont listen to the people who tell you they are brats. Some just can't stand their head messed with. Because other than that my kids are pretty good (aside from the normal phases of their ages of course) I wish I could tell you it is just a phase but mine has been like that for about almost 1.5 years. Maybe one day they will get over it. Good Luck.

My two year old daughter cant stand to get her hair washed!?

some kids are just funny like that, i have twisn and my oldest loves it when i bruch and do her hair but the youngest of the twins likes her dad brushing her hair and then i style it.

My two year old daughter cant stand to get her hair washed!?

Wow...That sounds exactly like my little sister. She will scream bloody murder until you stop...and its not like it hurts either. But she's 3.Good luck with your little one!

My two year old daughter cant stand to get her hair washed!?

get her a new bath toy.....

my 5 year old and 1 and a half year old neighbor love this that i got for the bath, it makes the faucet like a waterfall

so she may like it a lot and itll make her want to take a bath

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp...

My two year old daughter cant stand to get her hair washed!?

let her scream she'll soon get bored if your not paying attention.

My two year old daughter cant stand to get her hair washed!?

My son is a little funny about having his hair washed and he's nearly 5! She will let other people because she knows she can get away with kicking up a fuss with mum. Why not let her take a barbie doll into the bath and wash dolly's hair at the same time, kids love doing that. I sometimes get my son to hold a flannel over his face when I'm rinsing and he also has a little comb which he brushes his own hair with in the bath, I know it's a little different with a girls hair but it might encourage her.

My two year old daughter cant stand to get her hair washed!?

Try when your washing your hair let her get involved call her your beautician tell her that both of you have to gt your hair washed and why then when its time for her to get her hair washed ir wont be so frightening remember no water in the ears it make them feel as if they are drowning

My two year old daughter cant stand to get her hair washed!?

I had this problem with my older daughter ( when she was a toddler) and now my youngest does the same thing. they never liked water on their heads. I minimized the torture by getting a hair washing pitcher at Walmart with a rubbery edge. It is in the baby section by the bathtubs and such. You place the rubbery edge on the forehead at teh hairline and the water does not go down the face as long as the head is tilted back.

My two year old daughter cant stand to get her hair washed!?

try making it a game if it is fun she will want to do it. my son hates getting his head wet but we do it under the facuet and he gets to wash his dogs hair so it makes him feel better some times kids just like the way other people do things

My two year old daughter cant stand to get her hair washed!?

y dont u make hair washing fun, let her play around in the tub and say ok time to use the dora shampoo or something

ya' no just make it fun

My two year old daughter cant stand to get her hair washed!?

Children just do these things with their mothers- they may be young but they are not stupid. I find children can be very manipulating at times. She's manipulating you - get some of that No More Tears spray and tell her it's magic spray and see if that helps you. A new brush that she picks out? Good luck!!

My two year old daughter cant stand to get her hair washed!?

because she is being a brat and you are letting her.. sorry

How do you keep you hair non-tangled when you go in the pool?(and then come out)?

i have a pool and when i come out and take a shower my hair is tangled. In the shower i put conditner in my hair then brush it. What i want to know is if i can put something in my hair or put my hair a certain way so it is not as tangled was it is now! Please help, i am depersate and its only the beginning of summer here! HELP!

How do you keep you hair non-tangled when you go in the pool?(and then come out)?

put a leave in conditioner in it before you go in. If possible also braid it.

How do you keep you hair non-tangled when you go in the pool?(and then come out)?

I used to swim every day; i found the best thing to do is: put it in a regular braid.

When you are in the shower using your shampoo(chlorine shampoo is the best) try to comb iit out starting at the ends. Put in the conditioner and let it sit.

How do you keep you hair non-tangled when you go in the pool?(and then come out)?

You should brush it and put it in a tight bun. You can also wear a braided pony tail. These styles will help a lot.

How do you keep you hair non-tangled when you go in the pool?(and then come out)?

wear your hair in the pool down with no hairbinders cuz they can get stuck and after you get out just use some detaingling hairspray such as loriel kids it really works and then just brush it out

How do you keep you hair non-tangled when you go in the pool?(and then come out)?

braid it and dont braid it all the way to the end...then put it in like a bun, so when you swim it wont get in your way

How do you keep you hair non-tangled when you go in the pool?(and then come out)?

I swim a lot, and I have long hair. Before I go into the pool, I tie my hair in a ponytail. Then after I'm get out of the water, I comb it and then take a shower as soon as I get hair. Do you have curly hair? That might contribute to tangles. I have naturally straight hair, so it's pretty untangled. Hope this helps! =]

My hair is so full of static electricity, it is almost impossible to style. Help? What can I use?

is there a product out there to eliminate static in the hair. I brush my hair and there is no controlling it.

My hair is so full of static electricity, it is almost impossible to style. Help? What can I use?

Oooh I've had bad experiences with trying to use dryer sheets! It just made my hair feel really weird and kind of weighed down, and I have a thing about my hair be very shiny and silky, not looking like its full of product. Anyway, the easiest way to get rid of static is to buy a can of Static Guard. All you have to do is spray a little on your brush, let it dry for a couple seconds, and run it through your hair. Trust me, it works every time!

My hair is so full of static electricity, it is almost impossible to style. Help? What can I use?

You can use a dryer sheet and just rub it over your hair, it gets rid of the static and flyaways. Try it! Let me know!

My hair is so full of static electricity, it is almost impossible to style. Help? What can I use?

Just like the girl above said, dryer sheets do work. You can also spritz a little bit of hair spray on your brush before running it through your hair.

Good Luck!!

My hair is so full of static electricity, it is almost impossible to style. Help? What can I use?

Using a different brush can help. I went from a brush with all of the teeth being close together to the 'ouchless' brush. It's blue so it should be easy to find and it makes brushing my hair easy and doesn't make it full of static.

My hair is so full of static electricity, it is almost impossible to style. Help? What can I use?

After you shampoo your hair use cream rinse, it takes out tangles and static, leave it in your hair for a few minutes to let it soak into your hair before you wash it out.

The longer you leave it in the more silky and smooth your hair will be with no static.

My hair is so full of static electricity, it is almost impossible to style. Help? What can I use?

use hair staightners....put the plug in ur hair n it'll start working bcoz of the electricity in ur hair .....then staighten ur hair wid it!!!LOL:D

that was jst a joke!!

try brushing/styling ur hair while they r still wet.....use a hair mousse/gel before brushing ur hair or before u try to stylize ur hair!

Good luck!

Cheers!

My baby's hair is falling out!?

she was born with silky straight hair. it was thick, now its in patches around her head. when i wash her hair, i brush it and put vaseline in it to keep it from being dry. is that wrong? if so, how can i take care of her hair?

My baby's hair is falling out!?

its normal...my friends baby was born with thick black hair...when she was 3 months old, she was completely bald, this all happened within that time period, it just didnt happen overnight...the doctor said that it was normal and nothing to worry about....alot of it has to do with the amount of time babies spend on their backs, that can cause patching on the back of their heads....

all babies hair falls out, whether it be a tiny bit, or they go bald...now if she was severely sick and her hair was falling out, i would be worried...if you are still concerned, ask your pediatrician

My baby's hair is falling out!?

How old is your baby? My baby was also born with hair and she hasn't started losing it but I was told sometimes they lose all of the hair that their born with. A friend of mine both of her children lost all of the hair they had at birth.

My baby's hair is falling out!?

It happens to most babies, it'll come back don't worry.

My baby's hair is falling out!?

It's totally normal for babies (especially newborns) to lose hair or even go bald in some places. Don't worry, it doesn't mean anything is wrong or that your baby is sick. Our baby is going through the same thing right now (she's 9 days old). She was born with a FULL head of thick, soft hair and now it's thinning in the back and around her forehead. The doctor warned us that it might happen. It will grow back soon.

My baby's hair is falling out!?

The hair falling out is normal. It will grow back, don't worry.

But Vaseline is a PETROLEUM product and I would not be using it on a newborn!!

Use baby oil instead, or ask your baby's doctor what to use. There might be something new on the market that I am not aware of.

My baby's hair is falling out!?

babies lose their baby hair. this is perfectly normal. in addition, babies also loose hair where they lay their head. i would use baby oil, not Vaseline.

don't worry. its so normal.

My baby's hair is falling out!?

its normal i wouldn't use Vaseline id use baby oil my son was born with dark hair and it just sort of peeled off i used oil and a baby brush on his head it has now came back in blond and make sure you brush it in the direction that it lays or it'll just look worse as it falls out i think that's probably why they have so many cute baby hats on the market i use one till it wasn't a noticeable

My baby's hair is falling out!?

it is normal both my daughters hair full out and came back thicker and dacker so donot worry.

My baby's hair is falling out!?

NORMAL%26lt; NORMAL%26lt; NORMAL.....many babies first born hair falls out. It usually is a result of where the head rubs in the crib/car seat etc...and you cannot stop it. Newborn hair is usually replaced be a coarser child hair and can be a different color/texture than that with which the baby was born....my first born had pale yellow hair....a very pretty soft blond all over....it ALL fell out within 3 months...then she grew back a soft brown and by the time she went to school her hair was jet black!

My baby's hair is falling out!?

Completely normal! I wouldn't put anything on her scalp unless it is peeling and baby oil with aloe would probably be better. Let it fall out because the new hair could be different and exciting. My son was born with dark straight hair and now he has blonde curls!

Is it necessary for hair to be brushed/combed? not talking about looking neat!?

i'm not talking about so it could be neat and nice looking.. i mean is it necessary for hair to be brushed everday anyways? it is mandatory? does it help hair, scalp and hair growth?

Is it necessary for hair to be brushed/combed? not talking about looking neat!?

If you have curly hair, brushing it will only frizz it out so I recommend you brush it before getting in the shower. Brushing your hair before washing it helps release loose hair and enables a better cleansing too. It helps with circulation of blood flow in the scalp, which is good for hair growth. Good circulation is essential in keeping hair follicles healthy, which helps keep your hair on your head! Brushing long hair keeps it tangle free too, just common sense.

Is it necessary for hair to be brushed/combed? not talking about looking neat!?

umm no. its up to you if u want to brush/comb ur hair.

Is it necessary for hair to be brushed/combed? not talking about looking neat!?

of course not.

think about cavemen.

i mean, we evolved from them.

we turned out all right.

Is it necessary for hair to be brushed/combed? not talking about looking neat!?

It's not really mandatory, if you not concerned with looks, the only reason hair is brushed it to keep it from locking/dreading up.

Don't brush your hair for a while and your head turn into one big dread lock! ^.^

Is it necessary for hair to be brushed/combed? not talking about looking neat!?

Probably not, but if I don't my hair looks a hot mess.

And it gets tangled.

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

I have a big hair problem. It's so poofy adn puffy. How can I get rid of it? Everytime I wash my hair- I brush it out and when it gets dry. It just gets so big and all over the place. What can I do?

Don't tell me to go to the HairDresser or Salon because I don't want to waste my money on that stupid stuff I am so stressed out about this. What can I do? What should I do?

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

go get it cut and buy yourself a stragightner!!! i have a corioliss and it works awesome they said it can stay straight for three days!!!! you can find it on ebay for really cheap!!! also get the herbal essences dangerously straight products: there is the shampoo, conditioner, mouse, and the finishing spray but use that while you straigten ur hair and then put some more after ur hair is straighten!!!

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

cut your hair or use hair gel....

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

depends are you a girl or a guy?

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

Well, it's either waste $$ on a "stupid" hair stylist who knows the best way to handle your problem or you can do it yourself at home and REALLY have problems from "home remedies."

Don't be cheap with your hair - go to a professional and get good, sound advice and a really good hair cut.

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

get moose.. it works good =]

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

You can do many things, but I suggest that if you don't know how to make it un-poofy, embrace the poofy-ness =D

Try different styles that you like with the hair. Be creative, be original, be stylish. If you care what people say, ask a friend whom you trust their opinion to help you. If you don't care, go with what you like.

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

I have the exact same problem, its like as soon as your hair dries, it turns into a poofy triangle. I hate it, so I wear my hair up all the time. I decided to buy a blue bottle of Sunsilk, and on the front it reads "For hair that gets poofy as it dries," and that is the problem with your hair too I guess, so just go out and buy the shampoo and conditioner of it. It might not work on the first time, but it should after a bit. It works for me.

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

Trust me as much as your stressing it would be worth your money to go to a salon and let them help you and i'm sure after you left you would think it was everything but a stupid idea. Your hair probably needs thinned out with a good conditioning treatment.

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

I have the same problem, and have had many people try to control my hair, but nothing works. The only thing that has worked (for me, anyway) is Sunsilk Anti-Poof Hair Creme. You can buy it anywhere, grocery store, drug store or a hair store, and it will make your hair lay down. It's in a blue bottle, and it doesn't cost a whole lot. Good luck!

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

What you need to do is wash it condition it, and put in a leave in moisturizer, maybe like Neutragena Triple moisture. Then comb it with a comb, not a brush. Then braid it up in medium to small braids. Let it air dry. Once dry, take it out of the braids, and then finger comb it, and if you wish, flat iron it. The brush will just make it puffier. Never brush puffy hair!

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

Well, when i was 10yrs old, my hair looked like CRAP, It was SUPER puffy, and my mom bought me just hair gel, and told me when i got out of the shower, to add a bnuch of gel, and Scrunch your hair with your hands. And dont dry it, let it air cry! And now WA-LA! My hair is wazy/curly and it isnt bad at all!!

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

Try Sunsilk Anti-Poof Products

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

Hi

You should diffently try the new sun silk shampoos that came out, there are about 6 different types and you can just pick the one to match wat kind of hair problems, I went to www.hairpy.com and done a little quiz, they also give you a free sample,i started using the shampoo and my hair is in the best condition ever.

all the best,x

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

If you want to change your hair texture, you're going to have to spend some money on it. I would try perhaps a different cut, or gel or spray, or a frizz-controll shampoo.

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

First of all, don't brush your hair while it is wet!!! It sounds like you need a really good cut; it seems that you don't have a style. You say that going to a salon is "stupid stuff", but don't you wonder why your hair looks so bad??? You should explore styling products for your type of hair and "waste your money" by going to a salon so that you will learn how to work with your hair. If you really don't want to go, then you really don't care about how you look.

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

First of all you need a good haircut, not with layers this makes it more poofy.

Wash your hair with an anit-frizz or dry damaged hair shampoo and conditioner.Don't wash hair often.

Invest in a styling products either hair serum, leave in hair moisturizer, mousse and hairspray.

Invest in some hair straightners like GHD but don't use these frequently.

If you leave your hair to dry naturally it will be a big frizzy puff this is what happens to mine unless it put products on and wear it curly.

First comb hair when wet to detangle then When blowdrying the hair put mousse and serum in hair use a large hard bristle round brush this tames and straightens use hairdryer which has a valve type thing which directs the air one way this helps to smooth the hairshaft now hold the hair wrapped in the brush pulling down with the hairdryer above blowing down also dry from the roots down to the tip.

When dry spray hairspray onto a comb and comb through hair to tame flyaway ends using somthing like gel on heavy products just makes it look stiff and greasy.

When sleeping wrap your hair in a satin scarf or a pair of tights to stop it becoming a ball of fluff when you get up.

Trim hair regulary, 6-8 weeks and treat with conditioning treatment once a month.

HAIr HELP!!!!!!!!!!! I need the girls please.?

I know you don't want to hear this but you need a good cut by a professional! That is the number one step in getting your hair to behave. A good stylist can help combat your "big hair" problems. Once you get the foundation of a good cut, the rest should be pretty easy for you to maintain. Some styling products such as frizz serums or some hair gel should really help your hair problems. But don't think for a second that any styling cream or gel in the world will work with out getting a good haircut. Go see a professional and get a cut that is suited for your hair type. Also invest in good flat iron if you want silky, straight, managable hair. Good luck!

Hair Tips!! Please help!!?

I take a shower every morning right before school. then i blow dry it, and i straighten it. I'v been doing this since mid september. [about] Then i started noticing my hair getting Really dryy. and i don't like it. WHAT CAN i do to fix it. CAN I BLOW dry my hair annd brush it or something to get it straighter? PLEASE HELP! thanks guys!

Hair Tips!! Please help!!?

It's defintaly because your straightning and washing it every morning. Why dont you let you hair be natural for a change? and you really shouldn't wash it every morning. Also let it dry naturally too, it might help!

Hair Tips!! Please help!!?

Hi! Okay well i would suggest getting Alberto V05 Hot Oil and Herbal Essence Hydration shampoo and conditioner, also L'Oreal Studio Hot Styels this will protect your hair and you will be able to dry, straighten, curl, er w/e and your hair will look B-E-A-U- tiful.

Hair Tips!! Please help!!?

I have dry curly hair and this is the best solution I have found for my hair. Wash it only every other day and wash it at night so that you can go to bed with it wet and give it plenty of time to dry by itself. Then when you get up in the morning you can flat iron it. You should also try to find a hair serum to put in it while it's wet. I use Chi products. They are a little pricey but last a super long time so they are worth it.

My hair is so much healthier, softer, and shinier now. Also, make sure that you are straightening your hair with a good ceramic flat iron and not a curling iron or cheap flat iron. The cheaper flat irons usually aren't really ceramic and can do serious damage to your hair. I would suggest a Chi or a Paul Mitchell. They are both a little pricey but WELL worth it.

Good luck!

Hair Tips!! Please help!!?

try to apply heat protective serum before you straighten your hair, always condition your hair after shampoo, also do hot oil bath once weekly

1. Take a shower in the afternoon (shampoo and apply conditioner , then towel dry it)

2. blow dry it: before you blowdry it use a little bit of biosilk

(they sell it at walmart)

3. BUy a ceramic strightener and straighten it: before you srtaighten it use a little bit of biosilk in each sectio n of your hair. Try to strighten your hair sectiohn by section and no more than 2 inches a section

4. then when finished staightening rub a little bit of baby oil in your hands and apply it to your hair (only a little bit where there is a little bit of frizz)

5. buy a hair net and put it around your hair at night and sleep with your face up

6. in the morning you will have baby hair and you will enjoy your soft pretty hair! Good luck!

How can I make my hair silkier and stay less stringy for longer?

I can straighten my hair and brush it every 5 minutes and it looks fine, but is there any way to make it silkier and stay looking like its just been brushed? Is there a special type of shampoo? I use mousse and hairspray and my hair is almost naturally straight and it is about shoulder length. Any advice?

How can I make my hair silkier and stay less stringy for longer?

Use Sunsilk Hydra TLC shampoo, conditioner, and 24/7 Creme. It works really well. Also, when you get in the shower, before you wet your hair, shampoo your hair as you would if it were wet, wash it out, and shampoo it and condition it as you normally would. It makes your hair softer. I just did it this morning.

How can I make my hair silkier and stay less stringy for longer?

first you should use detangler and get all the tangles of then you should use the staightner and staight it then when thats done you can put on the shinning spray that makes your are shinny and well brush it works ive tried i have the same problem but i always do tatand it works Report It

How can I make my hair silkier and stay less stringy for longer?

There is certain shampoos that make hair shinier than others. For example, I use American Girl Shampoo from Bath and Body Works. It works great! I have long hair, and the shampoo makes it shiny. Conditioners help out too. Conditioners make hair shinier, because it get down to the root and helps it clean well.If you rinse your hair with cool water it helps make it shinier too!

Hop this helps! Email me if you have any questions.

How can I make my hair silkier and stay less stringy for longer?

With straight fine hair it is almost impossible to keep it looking like you just brushed it. One way to make it silkier is to use Farouk Systems Silk Therapy on it after your hair is dry. It's great to use before flat ironing also. You could try to flat iron your hair because that usually keeps it straighter and silkier than just blowdrying. This will keep your style a little longer too and keep it from looking stringy. Remember to only use a little of the SIlk Therapy. A little goes a LONG way. If you are using a flat iron that isn't ceramic, I would suggest spending a little more money and getting a Chi Iron. This iron gets very hot so you don't have to spend a lot of time styling your hair. It will help your style stay how you want it. If your hair is flat, you could try Matrix Amplify shampoo, conditioner, and Root Lifter. This will keep your hair looking a lot more full so it doesn't start looking stringy.

My hair is layered strange, and I can never get it the way I want it. Help?

I got my hair cut over the summer and it still hasn't grown out. My layers are so short that it makes my hair look terrible, and I can't do anything about it. I can't do anything with my hair except brush it in the morning because it won't do anything else. I've tried straightening, curling, putting it in a ponytail, and everything looks like crap. And normally leaving it alone doesn't even look good because the ends will flip in different directions.

Help me!

My hair is layered strange, and I can never get it the way I want it. Help?

Same thing happened to me. I can't do anything with mine either except put volumizing mousse in it and blow dry it using a round brush. Try blow drying and use a round brush, maybe you can get a better shape out of it. Find a good salon and have them check your layers to see if they are even cut at the right angle and blended. Hang in there.Your hair will grow out no matter how bad you think it is. Good luck!

My hair is layered strange, and I can never get it the way I want it. Help?

#1 it doesnt look bad mo. #2. if u want something different try playing with ur volume.

My hair is layered strange, and I can never get it the way I want it. Help?

The truth is you've tired different styles it seem and your not happy with any of them, your only answer would be to wait until it grows out.

My hair is layered strange, and I can never get it the way I want it. Help?

Try going to a Hair Salon and see if they can help.

My hair is layered strange, and I can never get it the way I want it. Help?

I agree with going to a salon to see if the stylist can help. Most stylist can show you different styles to use with layered hair. I use to work in a salon and I know that some times when you get a new style it takes a LOT of time to get use to it. And it does take awhile for hair to grow out. You most keep up with hair trims to help it grow out. Just have the stylist "trim" the ends. Just to keep it healthy. And ask her or him to show you a style that you can do with it. Ask what products she is using.

I hope this helps you.

My hair is layered strange, and I can never get it the way I want it. Help?

It sounds like you don't like it short. But if the layers are messed up, you might want to try going to a salon to get the layers fixed, and ask about diffrent ways to style it.

Blow drying: what brush?

When blow drying your hair, what brush will make it the most straight?

Blow drying: what brush?

hmm try:

http://www.conair-store.com/product_deta...

Blow drying: what brush?

a large, round brush.like this: http://www.cosmeticmall.com/images/produ...

Blow drying: what brush?

Use an ionic round brush, like this one:

http://www.salonweb.com/hai/roundbrush.h...

And when you're blowdrying, don't move the dryer. Keep it still and point the air flow down your hair, moving slowly down your hair with the brush and dryer in sync to seal it. Sometimes people blowdry their hair and move their wrist so that the dryer flow, and also their hair goes everywhere, but that just makes it messy.

Blow drying: what brush?

If your hair is already pretty straight then I would go with a paddle brush, Aveda makes a great wooden one. But if your hair is wavy and you really want to smooth it than I would use a large round brush the ones that are with vents. Start by drying most of the water then take smal sections starting from the bottom to the top. If it's not straight enough for you than I would invest in a good ceramic flat iron, good luck.

Blow drying: what brush?

use a paddle brush, not only will it make your hair the straightest but it will do the least damage. a boar bristle brush will also work because it helps to redistribute the natural oils that maintains healthy hair. A wonderful but waaaaaaaaaay too expensive hairbrush is the mason pearson brush. lets just put it this way: i don't advise dishonesty in relationships, but if you happen to buy this brush don't tell your husband or boyfriend how much it costs. believe me everyone will be happier.

How to get waves on the side of your hair.?

Do you brush downwards or side to side.

How to get waves on the side of your hair.?

First, you need to wash your hair thoroughly. Next, you will need a hard tip and soft tip brush. You will need to brush your hair constantly. Brush your hair in whatever direction your hair goes with the grain. The best way is downward. Side to side will make it too straight. Next, soften your hair with a liberal amount of Pink Oil Moisturizer or hair lotion, your choice. I would recommend S Curl 360 style wave pomade. Its the best gel or pomade I know. I haven't had my haircut short in over a year, and last week, I decided to put waves back in my head. A week later, I have my 360 style back. It works fast, trust me. Rub a small amount a couples of times or how ever much you want and then brush, brush, brush. The pomade only brings the waves out lightly, but the brush is the key. Brushing constantly will bring the waves in. After you apply the pomade, get a wave cap, skull cap, or du-rag and wrap it around your head and leave it on at night. This will hold the moisture in. In about a week or so, you should see results. Once they come in, let your hair grow some so they become deep before washing. You only need to put some pomade in your hair maybe twice a week at this point. When you see them coming in, put a little more on if you want. And remember, brush, brush, brush. Use the soft bristle brush to also help bring the waves out. DAX is okay, but not as nearly good as S Curl 360 style pomade. Good luck.

How to get waves on the side of your hair.?

use a crimper.

it looks like a straightener but the inside is bumpy, not flat.

maybe try using curling gel on wet hair, then dry your hair and use the crimper. or a lose barrel curling iron.

Why does my hair keep falling out?

every time i just run my fingers through it or brush it strands just fall out easily... what is going on???

Why does my hair keep falling out?

stress is a big factor, also diet can be a cause.

Why does my hair keep falling out?

its probably stress

Why does my hair keep falling out?

Do you take enough vitamins? See a doctor about that. God Bless!

Why does my hair keep falling out?

I had the same problem...it was terrible.

It is most likely that you have an iron deficiency.

I finally told my mom and she told me to start taking an iron tablet everyday.

Within a week my hair completely stopped falling out.

Multivitamins work well too but iron tablets work best.

Why does my hair keep falling out?

you might have cancer

Why does my hair keep falling out?

It could be a number of things.

Your shampoo'

conditioner

moouse

gel

genetics

any other chemicals you put in your hair

The same thing happened to me when I was using moouse and after I stopped the hair loss stopped too.

I hope that helped.

:]

Why does my hair keep falling out?

OMGosh that person who just told you you might have cancer is wrong the only reason why people lose their hair when they have cancer is because of the treatment not because of having cancer the chemotherapy causes your hair to fall out not cancer its self i just wanted to let you know so you wouldn't be scared. i think the other people are telling you well though so listen to them.

Why does my hair keep falling out?

It is normal for hair to shed daily. Just make sure your are using a gentle shampoo and conditioner, take your vitamins and get plenty of exercise and water. Stress, poor nutrition, harsh hair products and breakage along with medical issues can cause hair loss.

Why does my hair keep falling out?

it could be many things... it could be from stress, or just damage. if you straighten and blow dry your hair alot without using a thermal protection spray or gel, it will do that. my hair has the same problem and my hair stylist said it was from straightning and of all things brushing it to much. hope this helps!

Why does my hair keep falling out?

your suppose to lose up to 100 hair's a day. also do you wear your hair in tight pony tail's or any tight style? try to keep your hair loose.

aslo check to see if your hair in snapping of in the middle of a stran or is it coming out at the root.

if in the middle of the stran you need vitamin's and/or your hair is very dry and you need a shampoo and conditioner that add's moisture.

if it's falling out at the root it could as mentioned by other's stress or you need vitamins.

good luck

Why does my hair keep falling out?

people loose 100 hairs a day.

Why does my hair keep falling out?

Is your hair long? Mine falls out like crazy. I asked other girls with long hair... they say it falls out too. Some say it's birth control pills. Could be that your hair is too heavy.

Why does my hair keep falling out?

If you start getting little dime-sized or bigger bald spots, then it's alopecia areata. It's a condition in which your immune system attacks your hair like its a foreign object.

Why does my hair keep falling out?

Are you underweight? That can cause hair loss. So can a hormonal imbalance, stress, vitamin deficiency, or other medical conditions. The best thing to do is see your doctor so you can rule out something serious and stop stressing about it--the stress of worrying about your hair could be causing it to fall out even more!

Why does my hair keep falling out?

I have the same problem, and I'm thinking it's stress. I'm always stressed out about something or other. It could also be the shampoo or conditioner you're using. Maybe switch?

Why does my hair keep falling out?

i went thru that for a few years. it was awful it got to the point that i couldnt wear my hair in that wet curly look because u could see straight through to my scalp all over my head . i tried a lot of differnt hair growth oils and vitamins that worked while i was using them biotin with a b complex and amla hair oil being the most effective. but what stopped the probelm totally was when i got pregnant. im not suggesting u have a baby to stop ur hair loss but maybe it had something to do with my estrogen levels so maybe u could try a birth control pill or maybe some catsclaw (an herb). there are some herbs that women use during menopause to increase their estrogen production, look some up, just an idea

Why does my hair keep falling out?

there may be several reasons

FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall a lot? Don't worry, you're not alone. Millions of people from all around the world suffer from dry, brittle and weak hair. Some of the possible reasons for falling hair are:

Tension

Too much work

Illness

Poor diet

Over-exposure to the sun

Perming

Amateur bleaching

Too frequent and inexpert use of tints, rinses or other colourants

Here is what you can do to prevent hair fall

Shampoo regularly. Remember, a CLEAN scalp is a HEALTHY SCALP.

Brahmi amla oil also promotes hair growth.

A high protein diet with plenty of fruits, green vegetables and dairy products is a must.

Drink 10-12 glass of water everyday.

Use a very mild shampoo and condition your hair at least twice a week. When you do, make sure you rinse out the conditioner thoroughly, otherwise residue build-up will cause your hair to look limp and dull.

Know your vitamins! IRON is important for healthy hair and brittle, limp hair indicates an iron deficiency. Spinach has a good iron content, so gulp it down!

ZINC helps prevent hair loss and greying. Eat adequate zinc rich foods. Overweight people tend to have zinc deficiency, which is inversely related to the body mass index. Thus if you are overweight and if your hair falls too much, you may want to increase your intake of zinc containing foods. Recipes containing stone ground, wholegrain flour are rich in zinc.

A shortfall in VITAMIN B may cause dandruff, falling hair, loss of colour and could encourage grey hair. So B group Vitamins are essential for gloss, colour and thickness.

VITAMIN C ensures the health of capillaries supplying blood to hair follicles. Make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh fruits and veggies.

VITAMIN E encourages hair growth. Switch from refined flours to wholemeal and wheatgerm, eggs, vegetable oil.

COPPER stops hair from falling. Studies show that the copper content in the blood serum of people with falling hair is less than normal. Different types of alopecia (falling hair) are seen to have a deficiency of this important trace element. Include small quantities of nuts, especially cashews and peanuts, seeds, whole milk and beans in your diet as these contain minute but important amounts of copper.

Homemade remedies for preventing hair fall:

Apply almond oil on scalp and massage.

Grind fenugreek seeds in water and apply on your scalp. Wash off after 40 minutes. Do this every morning for a month 闅哣 if it suits you! Remember, different treatments suit different types of hair.

Massage warm castor oil + almond oil into your scalp gently. Wrap a hot towel around your scalp so it gets absorbed into the hair. Do this twice a week for healthy, shiny hair.

Add 2-3 drops of honey to a glass of water and use this as the last rinse after shampooing.

Quick Hair Care Conditioner

Mix 1 egg, 2 tbs castor oil, 1 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp glycerine. Beat until frothy and massage lightly into your scalp. Wrap your head in a hot towel, steam, then wash off. This conditioner makes hair thicker, shiny, soft and manageable.

Honey Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs (depending on the length of the hair), 1 tsp honey and 2 tsp olive oil. Massage gently into the scalp. Steam, and shampoo after an hour.

Alcohol Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs with 2 tsp brandy. Massage into your scalp. Leave for 10-15 mins. Rinse well. The egg nourishes your hair and brandy stimulates hair growth.

Your hair is a vital beauty asset, requiring constant loving care. And with a little nurturing, lush, glossy hair will be yours

ESSENTIALS FOR FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall often Arm yourself with these tools to combat hair fall.

Wide-toothed comb

Get yourself a wide-toothed comb. This is probably one of the most important yet underutilized of all hair tools. A wide-toothed comb helps you distribute conditioner evenly all over your hair while shampooing and conditioning. In addition, it also helps get rid of knots smoothly.

The best time to get rid of knots is during conditioning. Apply conditioner and run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair.

While untangling dry hair, do so in sections. Take one section at a time, and first, untangle the ends of your hair. Do so slowly, and don?t pull unless you want your hair to fall out in clumps or break.

Don?t wait for the last minute before detangling your hair. Every night, while sitting in front of the television, run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair, until you have untangled it completely. Do this every night, and you will notice that your hair remains free from tangles.

Leave-in conditioner

Dry hair tends to tangle easily, and, needless to say, causes it to break. Make sure your hair is never devoid of moisture by always keeping a bottle of leave-in conditioner handy. The next time you feel your hair is dry and rough to the touch, simply rub a dollop of leave-in conditioner between your palms, and apply it to your hair. Comb through with your wide toothed comb. Your hair will be instantly rejuvenated and moisturized. Gradually, the texture will also improve. This is a must if you blow dry your hair regularly, or if it is chemically treated. Such hair constantly craves moisture, so get yourself a bottle of leave-in conditioner.

Oil

Olive, almond and coconut oils are all excellent for the hair. While you could apply oil as an alternative to leave-in conditioner, oil tends to make your hair sticky, and you cannot style your hair well after applying oil. Your only alternative would then be to tie up your hair. For better results with oil, apply just a few drops immediately after washing your hair, when your hair is still dripping wet. Oil doesn?t penetrate the strands as easily as leave-in conditioner does though. Nothing beats a hot oil massage followed by a steam treatment, as the steam helps the oil penetrate the hair strands, strengthening them and curtailing hair fall.

Egg

Egg is great for the hair ? there are no two ways about it! True, it causes a tremendous stink in the bathroom, and your hair may let off an ?eggy? smell, but the results are instantaneous and worth it! Egg strengthens your hair almost immediately, and the egg yolk leaves your hair shining. Whip an egg with two tablespoons of olive oil and apply it to your hair. Wash off after half an hour. Make sure you wash off with cold water though, or the egg will start cooking in your hair, and would be harder to take off! Use a scented shampoo to counter the smell of egg in your hair, and follow up with a leave-in conditioner. Do this for a month, and you will be amazed by the change in your hair texture and the reduction in hair fall.

Why does my hair keep falling out?

It could be from lack of iron in your system or stress. I have the same problem and it irritates me severely. I also blowdry and straighten my hair so that could be a huge part of it if you do the same. I have hard water where I live and that combined with the humidity, is stress on my hair. Try switching out shampoos and maybe drinking lots of water, also use a spray or conditioner that protects hair from sever heat or styling. Hope this helps out.

I had a dream just before i woke up?

i was going to school but instead of going to the high school i was going to the jr. high.when i walked in the school i didnt have my hair brushed nor any parfume on.i forgot my locker number %26amp; combo.i tried to get in my younger sister's locker.instead of 3 grades there were 4 grades.i didnt know the combo for it either %26amp; this guy came up to me %26amp; put in random numbers %26amp; opened it up %26amp; then he left.then my sister came %26amp; asked what i was doing in her locker %26amp; i told her %26amp; she said she didnt have any but when she opened her bag that was in her locker she had both %26amp; she said no you cant use them.her friend becca came %26amp; heard our argument %26amp; said to me follow me %26amp; i will lend you some.so my sister %26amp; i follow her we ran throw the school go outside where they had spots practice going on her bag wasnt their.we ran through the school some more %26amp; we made a left turn %26amp; found ourselves in an office(like for a bank or something).i looked up at the clock %26amp; i said its almost time for class....

I had a dream just before i woke up?

That is very random. Are you worried about your sister?

I had a dream just before i woke up?

It sounds like your afraid of being sent back to a lower grade kelly

I had a dream just before i woke up?

I think it means you are going to die today.

I had a dream just before i woke up?

hello, this represents that you feel you're not ready for high school. you arent sure of yourself. For example, when you have the dream of not having brushed your hair and forgetting your locker combo, it signifies not being prepared for whats to come. Random ppl keep coming up to ur locker mean thats you feel others are more prepared than you are, and they might take your place or be better than u, or they know more than you. these are your fears. then when u look at the clock and its time for class, it also means that you feel unprepared for high school and more responsibilities. gotta tell u, HS sucks, its really stressful, but if your'e strong and you put ur mind to it, and work, you'll do fine.

What's the best way to make my hair wavy/curly?

It's already very slightly wavy, but I'd like it in light curls. What's the best way to do this? I usually take my showers in the evening, which means that when I brush it in the morning it's all frizzy and I have to wear it up. I use Herbal Esscences Extra Strengthening shampoo--- hope all this helps!!!

Thanks!

What's the best way to make my hair wavy/curly?

My hair is also slightly wavy and to make it have a beachy, more wavy look I do exactly this:

1. I take a shower at night

2. I towel dry my hair and put it directly into a bun, no brushing or combing.

3. I sleep with the bun

4. When I wake up, I take my hair out of the bun and part it into it's natural part with my hands. (still no brushing or combing)

5. I put lots of mousse in it and kind of grab my har from the bottom and push it up and into my fist. (scrunch)

6. I let it dry from there and it's wavy.

What's the best way to make my hair wavy/curly?

hot rollers. i have the same type of hair as you, and hot rollers work wonders!

Why do split hair ends keep coming back on my frizzy mixed race hair?

i'm biracial with black and white and I've had split hair ends for years but only now its bugging me, ive cut my gorgeous medium length hair off about 4-5 inches altogether but i keep getting split hair ends EVERY time. Is there a way to keep them from coming back?! i condition my hair and brush it thoroughly so i have no knots but nothing keeps the splits out

Why do split hair ends keep coming back on my frizzy mixed race hair?

After you wash your hair, do not brush through wet hair! Carefully, with a wide-tooth comb, comb through the hair. You may want to use a hair detangler of a leave in conditioner to make combing through easier. If you brush your wet hair, it causes tears and split ends, leaving your hair damaged and visibly flawed. Using certain hair clips or using rubber bands can also cause split ends if you have very fine hair Try using scrunchies!! Use a hair mask once a week to protect you hair from future damage. Get your hair trimmed regularly (at least every 6 months). It will remove split ends and keep your hair healthy and growing strong. Over heating hair can cause split ends. Always use a heat protection spray before using a hair dryer or straighteners.

Use these products they will help prevent and stop split ends:

ApHOGEE Keratin %26amp; Green Tea Restructurizer

TIGI S-Factor Serious Conditioner

Pureology Reconstruct Repair

BioSilk Silk Therapy

ApHOGEE Treatment for Damaged Hair

Why do split hair ends keep coming back on my frizzy mixed race hair?

Keeping it trimmed and using a really good conditioner should work. Try using hot oil treatments.
