What is the best way to get hairspray out of your hair brush?

Hot water and soap. Soak it if you have to.

What is the best way to get hairspray out of your hair brush?

i fill my sink with hot water and add the shampoo i am currently using ... i let the brushes sit for a couple hours and they do come clean. you may have to pull out the hair etc but the brushes come out great.

What is the best way to get hairspray out of your hair brush?

I usually boil it at a low temperature for about 10 minutes, then rinse it off after I take it out with cool water. The hairspray comes right off.

How do you keep ur hair in best condition?

do you use natural or chemical products? massage the hair? brush in a specific way?

How do you keep ur hair in best condition?

don't straighten, curl or dye it

How do you keep ur hair in best condition?

well, wash it often and dont flatten it (because it kinda dies)

How do you keep ur hair in best condition?

dont die it, straighten it,, or blow dry it

How do you keep ur hair in best condition?

Just so long as you wash it every other night, you should be in good condition. Be sure to condition it every other wash to prevent it from getting hurt from things like heat and products you use. Avoid using too many heat products at once to prevent damage to the ends of your hair.

Get it cut / trimmed reguarly to prevent split-ends. After washing, comb your hair to get tangles out.

Other than that, you should be good.

Good luck

How do you keep ur hair in best condition?

dont dye it, bleach it, or straighten it. Dont wash it TOO frequently.

How do you keep ur hair in best condition?

i do use chemical products and do straighten it sometimes, but i take care of my hair the best i can by getting it trimmed often and deep conditioning it once and awhile. i do also massage my scalp because it helps it grow.

How do you keep ur hair in best condition?

just make sure to get frequent trims to get rid of damaged %26amp; split ends...

shampoo %26amp; condition..

every once in awhile to a deep conditioning treatment where you leave the conditioner on for about an hour %26amp; wrap your hair in a hot towel..

and if you wanted to go even further you can get scalp treatments at a salon! they feel amazing!! good luck ;-)

How do you keep ur hair in best condition?

To keep it in top condition: I don't over-style my hair, no combing except with my fingers, no blow dryers, use deep conditioning once a week.

How do you keep ur hair in best condition?

I wash my hair with shampoo/conditionar for frizzy hair and then i comb it with a very wide comb while its wet and i never brush or put my hair up WET because i think it breaks hairs.

How do you keep ur hair in best condition?

People ask how I get my hair so nice looking. Well, all the shampoo stuff that supposivly make your hair look shiny and smooth, never works. Use Sauve shampoo and conditioner. Brush your hair anyway, that is not what matters. You can curl and straighten your hair, but it dies everytime you do. So I usually use hairspray and squirt it on my hair, and scrunch it up to make it look curly or wavy. My hair is naturally straight, so I don't have any tricks for that..But I hope this helps.

How do you keep ur hair in best condition?

I dye my hair and straighten it so in order to keep the hair from becoming damaged, I use a deep conditioner once a week and I use Organic Hair Mayo once a week (you can find at your local drugstore). I also shampoo with Garnier Fructisse for Damaged/Dry Hair.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

in one of the straightener adverts they say that it will make your hair smooth and shiny!! how can straighteners do that? same with hairbrushes!

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

well what i tried yesterday, was to shower at night, blow dry my hair, then straighten it that night. and this morning all i had to do was touchups. and my hair was super soft and shiny too. idk what i did other than do that stuff last night, but it workd for me. =)

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

a great way of making you hair shiny is rinsing it with cold water after conditioning!

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

Brushing too much can damage the hair cuticle. NOT recommended! Actually, your hair reacts better to a comb than a brush. Brushing it will only lead to split ends and hair breakage. Remember to always use a soft brush, avoid stiffs brushes.... Hair reflects poor nutrition through breaking, cracking and splitting. Dryness, brittleness, and lack luster hair can be sign of poor protein supply. Do remember to get your daily dose of good protein, your hair will than your for it! Take care of your body and you will have beatiful hair!

Rinse your hair with cold water to enhance the shine of your locks. Rinsing with cold water will close %26amp; smoothen the cuticle making it look shiny. Two ways to close and smoothen the cuticle after shampoo are:

A. To 1 gallon of distilled water add 1tbls of vinegar. Once the shampoo is washed apply the rinse. (It might not give a good odor, but the results are good.)

B. Apply acidic conditioners after rinse.

Get a transparent color on your hair in the same way normal colors are applied. The color will add little pigments to the hair shaft that would make your hair shine when light falls on it.

The simplest way to have shiny hair - deep conditions them.

Vitamin E is essential for your hair. Include brown rice, nuts, wheat germ and leafy green vegetables in your diet.

In a bowl mash avocado, one tbls of olive oil and a tsp of baking powder. Mix well and apply it on your hair. Rinse it after 15 minutes.

If you have got your locks colored, use products for color treated hair. These products will prevent the color from discharging, and making it look lifeless and dull.

Natural oil can also make your hair look shiny. Just brush or comb your hair.

Using a hair dryer can eliminate the moisture from your hair. Pick on heat activated shampoos and conditioners to retain the moisture.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

i have no clue..but it soes help with sraightening if you use a brush while doing so...but u can use silk drops to make ur hair shinier and it decrease frizz....u can find it at your local beauty supply store or i think it is even sold at wal mart.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

by smoothing down the top layer of the hair can't remember what it's called then the light refects more off the hair making it appear more shiny. Invest in a Mason and Pearson brush, you will really notice the difference. They are expensive but worth it. I bought my daughter one when she was a toddler and she still uses it now age 15 so I've got my money's worth!

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

I have really thick wavey hair and if I dont starighten it , it looks dull and very coarse. My straightenes make it look great, really shiny. This works as straighteners smooth down the cuticle, but using them too much can damage your hair. Use an intensive conditioner once a week, apply a straightening protection cream before using and a moisture spray after, I love the Loreal studio line hot straight cream (pink bottle), and dont starighten your hair all the time, I wash my hair every 3rd day and starighten once dry about once a week.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

The person who cuts my hair tells me that blow drying with the grain of the hair will make it shiny, also using a straightener going with the grain of the hair (Although there's no other way to use a straightener), will make the hair shiny.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

Be warned, over use of straightners makes your hair go brittle and will eventually, when you're about 40 actually, begin to fall out....yuck!

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

Well ACTUALLY hair straighteners, blow dryers and anything that involves heat damages your hair instead of making it soft and shiny. It may get shiny but it'll be all damaged and well who wants that right?

If you want really great shiny hair without even spending a great sum of cash theres many great simple things to do. You can put a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and comb it into wet hair. ONLY a tablespoon or it wont be shiny it'll be greasy, rinse really well with preferable a Dove shampoo. Brush while wet, let air dry, brush when dry. It'll be so soft and silky smooth, I do it all the time.

Have fun on your journey to the perfect head of hair--btw don't let those faulty ads fool you.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

well they cant really but with brushes and straightener you wash your hair then you use them.

HOPE THIS HELPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

These straighteners and brushes close the outer layer of hair called the cuticle. This allows the light to "bounce" off the hair shaft better to give your hair shininess!!

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

massaging the scalp, by brushing or combing, etc. releases natural oils onto your hair that your body makes.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

A NATURAL WAY TO SMOOTHER SHINNING HAIR IS TO USE A BOAR BRISTLE BRUSH. YOU CAN FIND THEM AT MOST BEAUTY SUPPLY STORES. EVERY DAY IN THE MORNING, BEND OVER FROM THE WAIST AND BRUSH YOUR HAIR FORWARD 100 STROKES. THIS ACTION TAKES THE NATURAL OIL FROM YOUR SCALP DOWN TO THE ENDS. SPLIT ENDS CAN MAKE YOUR HAIR LOOK FRIZZY, SO TRIM THEM OFTEN. ANY CHEMICAL YOU PUT ON YOUR HAIR (STRAIGHTENERS, COLOR, PERMS) WILL DULL YOUR HAIR.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

Normally a hair strand is like the skin of fish that have scales. That was an exaggeration but you get the point. What makes those scales close up is rinsing it with cold water at the end of the shower or pressing it with straighteners or brushing with a brush. That will give you a short term effect because if you overdo it your hair will get damaged.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

They distribute the natural oils on your scalp evenly throughout your hair.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

its not true that straighteners and hair brushes can make ur hair shiny cause it do not contain any conditioner in fact if they are used frequently they can be harmful to hair its all fake the brands use these phrases just for publicity so that their products are sold thats it my friend so don't go for artificial beauty u can shine up ur hair by applying natural home made products like egg, henna lemon etc.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

The surface of a strand of hair isn't one solid piece. Imagine the surface looking more like a pine cone. When the segments lay flat, the surface is smoother. When hair is damaged it is more susceptible to looking frizzy and will split. A straightener smooths those segments down and the smoother your hair is, the shinier it is.

It is VERY IMPORTANT however, that you condition your hair well and apply product to your hair before you straighten it. There are a number of products designed for use with flat irons and high heat. If you don't apply protective product before using the straightener, you will do more harm than good. You may as well just take a lighter to your hair.

The same is true of using hair dryers and curling irons. You have to protect your hair first.

By the way, when you purchase a flat iron or curling iron, buy one that is ceramic. They heat faster and more evenly, and are less damaging to your hair.

Conair Instant Heat is a great one, because it is a curling iron and flat iron. You just slide the locking mechanism and the barrel of the curling iron splits in two to become a flat iron. It heats in 30 seconds and has an adjustable temperature gauge so you can control the heat.

Hairbrushes smooth your hair and stimulate your hair follicles to release their natural oils, which also enhance shine.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

any heat protecting spray go to a sally beauty. it also makes frizzy hair smoother.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

the ceramic needles or plates make your hair look brand new!!!!

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

Always use a good quality shampoo and conditioner. I prefer Redken Smooth Down. Love It. I always prep my hair with a heat guard serum and I also invest in a good quality straightener. I bought a Chi. Great, fantastic results!

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

put some oil in or wash your hair and brush it.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

I would get a good brush and a comb that you like. Then get a nice shampoo and conditioner and wash your hair with a comb to get out all the soap out. I would wash your hair with cold water. Then dry it with a towel then brow dry it. I know a girl at school that did it now she looks so pretty. Good Luck!

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

i always straighten my hair even though sometimes when i wake up it is straight i just straighten it so it is shiny

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

Hi there,

There is a lot of myths of how hair can be shiny with straighteners and hair brushes, but your hair has a protective coat of oil in it to help it become shiny. there are product that helps your hair if you have very dry hair.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

Straighteners use chemicals to achieve soft and shiny locks. However, they cause your hair to become brittle over time if you fail to condition it on a regular basis. Anytime you use anything other than natural sustances you run the risk of damage to the hair. The best natural thing to get shine and keep the hair healthy is to add a teaspoon of vinegar to your conditioner and use it every time you shampoo. As far as keeping your hair straight; try using a big round brush and apply some frizz treatment. That might work out fine but you must use it every time you shampoo. The advantage to this is that you won't damage your hair and it will look healthy longer. Hey-it's better to work hard at achieving something good than to do something fast and get long results but in the end you will damage the hair and might even loose some or all of it. Take care and good luck.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

Because you've got oil in your scalp and the more you brush your hair the more it brings the oil into your hair and thats why it makes you hair shiny! hope that helped!!!

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

I dont know about straighteners, but when you brush your hair the action takes the oils that the hair folicle makes and distributes from your scalp to the hair shaft. The natural oil on the dry hair shaft gives it a shine.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

idk i have straght hair no matter what

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

I would think that it depends on what type of shampoo you use too. Fructus works for me and it makes my hair nice and shiny once I've dried and brushed it. I don't think just using a certain hairbrush or a straightener will make your hair shiny. Thats just so that they can get you to buy it.

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

i'm not sure how they do it, but i sure know my straightener can make my hair more shiney than any hair products!

How can straighteners and hair brushes make your hair more shiny?

Eat more carrots, and brocoli. That should do it. And don't listen to that Jessica, she's a knob.

Hey well i need serious help i need straight hair and fast?

i have wavy-curly hair but its toooooo puffy (frizzy) i need to know of a way to get straight hair but i dont have much time in the mornings and when i do it at night it just doesnt look right and i cant (dont know how to) use a blow dryer and round brush please help thank you

Hey well i need serious help i need straight hair and fast?

I just got a Sedu flat iron and it is amazing! I have waivy frizzy crazy hair and I put some Chi silk protein in it and can blow dry upside down. Then I straighten it and it looks amazing! I sleep on it and it's still straight the next day too- that has never happened before. It's a little pricey, but definitely worth the money!

Hey well i need serious help i need straight hair and fast?

After you wash your hair, add some hair serum to it, blow dry it, then use a straightening iron or curling iron on it, I have to do it also.

Hey well i need serious help i need straight hair and fast?

My hair is the same way...i buy frizz resistant shampoo and a straightner. Use a comb to comb your hair, a comb straights it out more. Also when ur done taking a shower blow dry then straighten!!

Hey well i need serious help i need straight hair and fast?

I have the same kind of hair, and what I do is I have one of those blow dryers with the brush attached on the end. It only takes like 15 minutes to dry my pretty long hair and it is soo much easier! Then I sleep on it and just fix the kinks with a flat iron in the morning which only takes maybe 5 minutes at the most. Otherwise, you can buy something from the drug store or have something done at your salon that pretty much has the opposite effect as a perm.

Hey well i need serious help i need straight hair and fast?

if u go 2 the hair stylist and ask them about straight hair ask them 2 put this solution stuff in your hair and that will make it so much easier....... i should know my mom is a hair stylist

Hey well i need serious help i need straight hair and fast?

straightening your hair will just make it frizzier in the long run! buy some shampoo thats made for curly hair and leave it curly...use some gel or mousse but you shouldn't staighten it everyday

Hey well i need serious help i need straight hair and fast?

go to one of your local stores and a find a spray-on de-frizz product or a hair straightening spray-on product. Use it in the morning and just brush and GO !

Hey well i need serious help i need straight hair and fast?

I agree with the first answer. To save time I do mine at night, then in the morning a freshen it by using a blowdryer with heat. The heat re-opens the hair cuticle and re-activates any products you put in your hair to get it straight without having to add more product which will make it look dirty if you do. Good luck:)

Hey well i need serious help i need straight hair and fast?

use a straightening iron.

How does one get off dried on hairspray off a hair brush or curling iron?

I have found that you may be able to use more of the hairspray to remove it from the brush and iron. Basically, liberally spray the item with the hair spray and scrub it with a good thick paper towel. This works with some paints and glues, it may work with the iron and brush.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

How does one get off dried on hairspray off a hair brush or curling iron?

rubbing alcohol and hot water

How does one get off dried on hairspray off a hair brush or curling iron?

Try soaking the brush, pulling all the hair out, and using a toothpick or something similar in size to scrape off the hairspray.

For the curling iron, take a damp (not dripping!) paper towel and rub at it until it comes off. (make sure the curling iron is cold!)

If that doesnt work, heat up the curling iron, take a thick cotton towel, and rub it. It shouldn't burn the towel if you keep it moving, just don't leave it sitting on a certain part of the towel for more then a few seconds!

Firstly, i would recommend to get your hair layered by a hairdresser.....

If you look at the pic the girl has layers all through the front of her hair, your hair appears to be longer at the front then the pic so you won't be able to achieve the same look.

Take the pic to a hairdresser and get your hair cut into that style, once they've layered it and thinned out some of the ends your hair will be easier to style like the photo.

At the hairdressers ask them to show you how to style it like that at home.

What is the best way to blow dry my hair straight?

I've tried like you see on Tv by just dragging the blow dryer after my brush, but its not working, so I am sensing there is more i need to be doing. Help please!

What is the best way to blow dry my hair straight?

Shampoo:

閳?Before getting into the shower, gently brush or finger-comb your hair to loosen up tangles and residue.

閳?Wet hair and pour a small amount of Pantene Smooth %26amp; Sleek Shampoo into your palm.

閳?Rub your hands together and gently massage into the roots using the tips of your fingers. (Careful! Vigorous rubbing can cause strands to break.)

閳?If you wear makeup, pay special attention to the hairline.

閳?Rinse thoroughly with warm water to remove all of the shampoo.

Condition:

閳?Conditioning is key to creating shine and preserving hair health.

閳?After shampooing, carefully remove excess moisture by squeezing your hair with a towel. (Be gentle. Rubbing and twisting with a towel can break the hair.)

閳?Squeeze a small blob of Pantene Smooth %26amp; Sleek Complete Therapy Conditioner on your palm and spread it over your hands, then apply it to your hair.

閳?For super shine, condition the entire strand, starting at the roots.

閳?For volume, condition only the middle and ends of your hair, where it's most susceptible to damage.

Styling:

閳?It's easier to apply styling products to hair that's just damp, so towel off first.

閳?Squeeze a palmful of Pantene Get It Straight Gel or Smooth Down Frizz Control Smoothing Cr鐚玬e into your hands and rub them together.

閳?Distribute the styling formula evenly by "clapping" sections of hair between your flat hands and gently pulling downward.

Blow-dry:

閳?Use the hot setting on all of your hair to accelerate the drying.

閳?When hair is about half dry divide it into sections so you can concentrate the blow dryer and brush on one area.

閳?Use clips to divide the top front and sides, then blow-dry them one at a time using a flat brush (smaller bristles work best). Once the top and sides are finished, you can move to the back.

閳?A flat paddle brush works best. Its wide surface area spreads hair out and keeps it taut, which aids in the straightening process.

閳?Follow the brush with the blow dryer, keeping the blow dryer about five inches away from the hair.

閳?Too much heat can cause damage. Once hair is mostly dry, reduce the heat and add a nozzle. Start from the roots and follow the brush down, keeping the hair taut but not stretched too tightly. The cooler air locks in the style you want.

Set Your Style:

閳?A generous spritz of Pantene Stay Smooth Hairspray Flexible Hold will keep your smooth look in place for hours.

I hope this helps!

What is the best way to blow dry my hair straight?

I hate blowing my hair because I feel like it just comes out all frizzy (poofed) but, I realized that the little piece you add on to the tip of your blower is a HUGE help. Your brush might be the problem too. Try a big round brush with hard bristles, not the soft ones.

What is the best way to blow dry my hair straight?

You need to use a large round barrel brush. It does take practice to get good at it, but if you don't have the patience, use a flat iron or hair straightner instead. Conair makes a good one.

What is the best way to blow dry my hair straight?

First of all, dry your hair in small sections starting from the bottom. Point your dryer straight down so you don't ruff up the hair shaft and get all frizzy. Dry section by section until you get to the crown of your head and if you need to, go through it with a straightener after for added straight-ness!

What is the best way to blow dry my hair straight?

point the dryer downwards down your hair and comb it. use hairspray to tame waviness/ curliness. dry while its wet!

What is the best way to blow dry my hair straight?

You're going to want to wash your hair with a moisturizing shampoo it will provide extra moisture that will protect your hair from the effects of the blow dryer. After the wash, towel off your hair slightly, just enough to stop the dripping. Separate your hair in to sections. The bigger the section, the longer it will take to dry i reccomend smaller sections becuae you get better results and its more easier. It's best to go for 4-6, but it depends on how much hair you have but make sure nothing is tangled. Use heat protectant. Start blow drying at the top/roots, about six inches away. Maintain this distance throughout, so nothing burns. Work your way down, and remember to move the blow dryer around, again, so nothing burns. NEVER DRY IN AN UPWARDS MOTION! As soon as it feels dry, stop; keep going any longer, and your hair will turn to hay. You should put in a moisturizing hair spray, anti-frizz cream or conditioner after you're finished blow drying, just to quench your hairs' thirst. If it comes out frizzy or puffy which happens to some people when they blow dry their hair you might want to go with a flat iron just go get it flatter and shinier. Then use a shine spray.

I have a teddy bear hampster and I gave him a bath and brushed his hair however he had some matted pieces that

I found some information that I am going to share with you. Although in this situation the hamster got into a fight with another hamster, the care for the wound I assume would be the same.

**Caring For An Open Wound**

Most open wounds occur when two hamsters fight each other when their teeth are not clipped. If your hammie gets an open wound and it is not life threatening then place him in his own personal cage. Apply vitamin E oil to this open wound daily. Vitamin E fights infection and promotes healing. His wound should scab over and heal up in a couple of weeks. This is what I did for my hammies and it worked fine. It does not matter if your hammie licks the oil or not- either way is beneficial to him.

I have a teddy bear hampster and I gave him a bath and brushed his hair however he had some matted pieces that

If you're writing this, whats happening to your hamster? did you bandage up the wound?

I have a teddy bear hampster and I gave him a bath and brushed his hair however he had some matted pieces that

First off never cut his hair for that reason. Instead buy a small dematting brush that will easily take the mats out. You also, never put human antibiotic on an animal. You may give your pet an allergic reaction accidentally. Go to your local pet store and buy antibiotic specially made for small pets. However, it sounds like he will be just fine. It sounds like he getting older, and any kinda stress can cause him to die, so be careful.

I have a teddy bear hampster and I gave him a bath and brushed his hair however he had some matted pieces that

why did you give him a bath in the first place? hamsters do not need to be bathed because a lot of the time it can make them sick. i dont know how its hair could have been matted if you are taking proper care of it. watch the wounds and clean them with peroxide, if they are deep and do not get any better or start getting infected please take it to the vet.

I have a teddy bear hampster and I gave him a bath and brushed his hair however he had some matted pieces that

if the cut id deep it may cause alot of bleeding

uses hypoalergeniic cotton wool and clean the cut and cut of some fur a round it seeing a vet will also beifit you it is unlikely that he will die if the cut isnt serious

I have a teddy bear hampster and I gave him a bath and brushed his hair however he had some matted pieces that

Please tell me you didn't water bathe him!!! Giving a water bath can cause him to get pneumonia. Only give him a sand bath. Clean the wound using a cotton ball with Peroxide on it. The cut will heal, you can put a tiny bit of Neosporin ointment on the wound to aid in healing, be cautious not to put too much since they do bathe themselves a lot. Watch it over the next few days to make sure it doesn't turn red, warm/hot to the touch or ooze pus or liquid from the wound. Things should do fine however.

It's great you've had for about 3 years since they usually live 2 1/2 -4 years only, rarely older in some hamsters. My daughter has one that turned 3 back in January and he's doing fine.

In the future brush and comb him daily to help avoid the mats, sometines the long hair gets intwined in the wheel which will cause matting to occur. We have 14 Syrian long hairs and it's a big job grooming all of them, but I have help with 3 of my children (21,17 %26amp; 10), they help me run our rescue. My 17 yr old is my primary groomer, she's learned how to clip not only the hamsters if needed, but the cats, dogs, and rabbits we have now and in the past. My other boy (20) hold a more then full time job and cares for his iguana only.

Just never give him another water bath to help him from getting sick especially in his advanced age.

I have a teddy bear hampster and I gave him a bath and brushed his hair however he had some matted pieces that

OMG. YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO GIVE HAMSTERS BATHS!!!! They will get sick. they clean themselves. Instead get chinchila bath powder and put it in a bowl and they will roll in it. DO NOT GIVE HIM A BATH ANYMORE. Try to go to the vet immediatly.

How can I get the static out of my hair brush?

run cold water over it.

How can I get the static out of my hair brush?

put water in ur brush

How can I get the static out of my hair brush?

get it wet, then shake the water out

How can I get the static out of my hair brush?

Spray aresole hairspray in it!!!

How can I get the static out of my hair brush?

Clean it with your shampoo.

How can I get the static out of my hair brush?

For your hair brush I would run it under water...but it could be your hair that is getting your hair brush to be static-y. If it is your hair then use a dryer sheet and rub it in your hair..it really works!!

How can I get the static out of my hair brush?

try washing your hair and instead of blow drying it let it air dry

How can I get the static out of my hair brush?

This is remedy handed down from my grandmother.

Take an emery board(nailfile) and run it through the brush bristles several times. It has to be one of those emery board types, not the smoother metal type.

How can I get the static out of my hair brush?

Well, to get static out of ur hair...my Spanish teacher recommended that we use those fabric softeners and rub it lightly on our head. Idk if it works since the only time I have that problem is when someone rubs a balloon across my head. So I never had to try it....oh and by fabric softener, i don't meant the liquid. Hope this helps!

How can I get the static out of my hair brush?

Just run a dryer sheet over it a few times. This works for ANYTHING that has static. There is also a product called "static guard" or something like that that you can spray on static.

What can i do with dog hair?

After I brush my dogs fur what can I do with the fur other than throwing it away? Is it good to throw it in the yard for birds or something?

What can i do with dog hair?

You could add it to a compost pile.. Put it in your yard for birds and things to use for a nest. You could make make yarn and then knit a sweater for your dog.. ( talk about recycling!! ) If you have enough of it.. you could stuff homemade dog toys.. or homemade dog beds.

I dunno.. but i should look into it too.. as I have 6 dogs and 2 cats.. and some bunnies! LOL

Good luck!

What can i do with dog hair?

yeah thats what i do

brush em outside

then a little rinse

id get a product called burz off

its a rock that is all textured and takes all the shedding out

What can i do with dog hair?

I think the best thing you can do is throw it away. There isn't much you can do with the dead hair that comes off of a dog after it's been brushed.

What can i do with dog hair?

You could give it to the birds for their nesting. If you have any hamsters, rabbits or chinchillas then you could give it to them for a nest for sleeping in.

What can i do with dog hair?

Here's 2 stories of people who made sweaters out of yarn made from shed cat and dog hair!

http://www.abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/...

http://www.9news.com/news/article.aspx?s...

More practically, you could scatter the fur around your garden. The smell of the dog might scare away rabbits, deer, or other critters who want to eat your plants.

What can i do with dog hair?

Birds do like to use it for nests, and if you have a double coated breed, such as a sheltie ;o), collie, St. Bernard, golden, samoyd, etc., you can keep the undercoat you have brushed out to be spun into yarn for knitting. :-) Our National has a booth for rescue each year, and a few of our rescue folks make dog hair itmes for sale to benefit rescue. You mighjt want to see if your breed does the same. Dog fur yarn items can be great keepsakes for people when their dog passes away.

What can i do with dog hair?

it also makes good rabbit deterant.

we spread it around our garden so the rabbits don't nibble.

What can i do with dog hair?

I always threw it away after I brushed him, until, I saw the birds landing on the porch to pick up the stray hair from him going in and out so much. Now, about twice a week and more often in the winter, I put the hair in a little corner of the porch that's out of sight from everyone else. I'm not sure if the wind has blown it away or not, but it's always gone when I check on it. I like to think that the birds have taken it.

What can i do with dog hair?

I've joked about making a pillow out of my dog's hair, but putting it out for birds seems to be the best option so far, unless you're in to spinning. :)

What can i do with dog hair?

Well if you have a garden and are having problems with bunnies or squirrels digging, just take some dog hair and spread it around to keep them from digging again.

What can i do with dog hair?

Long ago people put the hair they cut under a rose bush to make it grow strong and produce better. I guess dog hair would work also.

If you washed your hair in the a.m., went outside with kids, & later to mall?

And, then you're supposed to go to a big dress up party at 7 that evening, do you rewash and fix your hair?, Brush, fix and respray your hair? Or just leave the wild mess?

If you washed your hair in the a.m., went outside with kids, %26amp; later to mall?

Just fix your hair, have fun at the party!

If you washed your hair in the a.m., went outside with kids, %26amp; later to mall?

just fix it. it shouldn't need to be rewashed.

If you washed your hair in the a.m., went outside with kids, %26amp; later to mall?

NO!

If you washed your hair in the a.m., went outside with kids, %26amp; later to mall?

fix ur hair then go 2 the party and have a BLAST!

If you washed your hair in the a.m., went outside with kids, %26amp; later to mall?

the wild mess is best

If you washed your hair in the a.m., went outside with kids, %26amp; later to mall?

Just brush, fix and respray. It will probably be easier to fix that way rather than rewash anyway.

This is perfectly normal hon. The average person loses 60 to 100 hairs EVERY day. The only time you should worry is if you see large patches of missing hair.

Hair Help! [Please only answer with experience!]?

I want to do the bump hairstlye, like my avatar. I don't want to do it the really long way, with all the teasing and curling and all that. I just kind of want to take some hair, brush it back to give it some kind of extra 'oomph' but then just put it back, push it up a little, and bobby-pin. I tried that today but it didn't work. When I do it, basically when I start bobby-pinning, the bump splits in half and then I have basically a gap in my bump. Please any tips, instructions, or help would be great! Also, make sure you list your source [and it's not just ME!] and that you have some kind of experience.

Hair Help! [Please only answer with experience!]?

I do it extremely simple.

http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b390/w...

http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b390/w...

There are a few pics. I usually just make sure i take up enough hair in the front to make it even. I make sure i dont have alot of hair in the "bump" b/c then its harder to make it stick up higher.

I usually twist the hair and pull it back. Stick a pin in the middle of my head. Then i pull the pin forward until the "bump" appears to the height i want it. I usually just put the rest of my hair in a pony tail and it still looks cute :)

Hair Help! [Please only answer with experience!]?

Section off the piece you want to bump. Pull it straight up in the air with one hand and spray lightly with hairspray on the back near the scalp. Then brush the top to smooth it down. Pull the hair back (smoothing again) and twist right at the scalp. I use a tiny little clear rubber band to make it stay. It's easier for me to get the poof.

Hair Help! [Please only answer with experience!]?

When you dry your hair don't part it in the middle (blowdry the part on each side) so your bangs don't split and then spray with hairspray to keep in place, if you do a middle part right now your bangs are "trained" to part down the midddle. Use some volumizing spray before you blow dry it to help you with the oomph. Also, use two bobby pins, one from each side, three if you have thicker hair. Also, I don't have to twist mine, it just stays in place with the bobby pins at each side.

Hair Help! [Please only answer with experience!]?

Okay, don't put to much hair in with it, but a thin layer! Hold it in place and put hairspray on it and hold for a few seconds! then bobbypin it..it will work out wonderfully!!!

Hair Help! [Please only answer with experience!]?

If you're a "hands on" kind of learner why don't you ask your stylist to show you how. They won't mind at all.

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

UGH!! This is REALLY starting to freak me out!! I remember the first time I pulled a FREAKISHLY huge handful of hair out of my hair brush... it was about a week after Thanksgiving, so my daughter was almost 3 months old. I thought, "hmm... this is disturbing..."

I researched on www.babycenter.com why new moms lose so much hair (GREAT website, BTW... love it), so I know why, and I also know that hair loss after giving birth is normal...

BUT ARRRGH!! I really am starting to worry, and I wonder if it will EVER stop falling out! I'm starting to really get scared! It has been falling out for 2 months now! I have always liked my hair... Now, at a time when I am unhappy with the way I look (I hate my new post-pregnancy body), I really can't emotionally afford to have such thin hair, too!

I'm not really sure what I am looking for here... Reassurance? Rememdies? A hug... haha... Understanding? Validation? I don't know...

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

i asked this same question on here at about 5 mo's lol.

we've made it to month 8 - almost- and the hair loss hasn't totally stopped, but it's not shedding and getting everywhere constantly anymore. once i started eating more calcium and balancing my diet with less processed foods, lots of water, too... it helped.

i have this in common with other moms too. it could be related to a lack of protein and nutrition mixed with breastfeeding, baby's sucking it all out :) so make sure YOU are taking care of you, too...i know how that can be.

mothering.com has a lot of good recipes for moms, bf'ing moms in particular because of their dietary needs.

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

Get a good haircut--seriously :-)

That's what I did and it made a world of difference for me since mine fell out for several months and I didn't have much to begin with...

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

R U kidding? Your a mom now, it will always fall out!

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

My son is 6 mo old and I will let you know when my towel stops looking like Cousin It washed his face with it. I'm thinking 9 months, since it stopped shedding for approximately that long it will probably take an equal amount of time for that hair to stop falling out.

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

I can't give you an answer but I can tell you I'm sure you are a very beautiful person and not to stress..that doesn't help much..lol and I can't give you a hug so this will have to do ((((((YOU)))))) lol I hope everything works out for you and remember..don't stress =0) Good Luck!!

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

Are you still taking your pre-natal vitamins? It might help. I didn't have this problem but if I did I would think it was nutritional or hormonal....Make sure you're eating right and talk to your doc about it. Good luck :)

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

oh girl i feel ya!!

my nursling is 7 months old and mine just quit falling out....i really thought i would go bald

most likely it will cease to shed in about a month or so

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

Maybe check with a doctor for reasurance.I have three kids, two of which are twins and I never experienced that,Does it have something to do with breastfeeding?I'd cut sick if my hair started falling out.Maybe your could try the NUTRI-OX system,it is designed for thinning and hair loss.It feels good on the scalp.

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

Just take it easy . It will solve in another 6weeks. Good luck!

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

I'm experiencing the same thing and my daughter is 5 months old! Luckily I have very thick hair. Everytime I take a shower, I literally pull out another head of hair! I'm wondering when it will stop too.... At least you know you're not the only one!! :)

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

My son just turned 4 mths and about a month ago mine started to fall out. I hate it cause my hair is everywhere and the baby constantly has a strand wrapped around his little hand and he's chewing on it. Gross gross gross. After my first, it last until he was about 6 mths. I also never had thick hair and feared I was going to be bald at the end. I even though about getting rogaine but they don't recommend using it for postpartum hairloss. Congrats a your baby and don't worry, loads of other women are in the same boat. And about the postpartum body, I have some good muffin tops going now since the birth od the baby.

I got wavy hair, but the waves aren't cool...is there a way to make waves look nice without any

the only things I got is a blow-drier, a hair brush, anti-frizz and hair spray lol

I got wavy hair, but the waves aren't cool...is there a way to make waves look nice without any products?

I don't know about without any products but the Sunsiilk products work fantastic. the green waves and curls would work you wouldn't even have to use the 24/7 cream they have shampoo that would probably work well. I use this stuff every day for shampoo and conditioner and the 24/7 cream my hair is crazy before I use it then it looks good!

How do you make your hair grow faster?

I dont want to use any producs. or trim it. and i brush it all all the time;

How do you make your hair grow faster?

Take pre-natal vitamins. They are not just for pregnant women.

That will help a lot.

How do you make your hair grow faster?

Iff you straighten your hair, the ends will become dead and the ends fall off so that makes you'r hair grow slower so maybe if you starighten your hair, stopping it wil help your hair grow and keeping it up all the time makes it grow slowers

^Facts

=) Good Luck

How do you make your hair grow faster?

indian head massage

when you have shampoo in your hair massage it in to your scalp, this will increase blood flow meaning your hair grows quicker...and it feels good...

How do you make your hair grow faster?

there are 3 stages of hair growth - angen, catagen and telegen.

the anagen is the actual growing stage of the hair and depending on how long tht stage last is how long ur hair will grow.

on average hair grows at 1/2 an inch per month. having a good diet can help but there is no miracle cure for making hair grow.

theres no magic pills, vitimins, getting hair cut doesnt make it grow quicker.

if u do want long hair tho, u can cheat and get hair extensions, and if u do, go for weave in 1s as glue/bond 1s cause damage and with sewn in 1s ur hair is braided and strips of hair sewn in, it means ur hair can have a "break" and can grow.

How can i get my hair to look full and pretty everyday?

when you are flat ironing, form a "C" at the top of your hair. kinda like a hill or something. grab the hair with the flatiron, normally you would go downward, right? but go the opposite direction. place one finger on top of that section of hair, between your roots and the curling iron. then pull the iron over your finger, and let your finger create resistance so that you can move the flatiron into the C. once you get about 6 inches of the hair, start going straight, but leaving your finger at the top of the hump you made, finish the ends. that will be a more natural volume, but if that's not enough. tease it.

if you need help on how to tease it, then email me!

I have a huge knot in my hair! How do I get it out? besides brushing?

What should I do before I brush to make it easier?

I have a huge knot in my hair! How do I get it out? besides brushing?

Try some leave-in conditioner, and after a few minutes, wash it out. Then it should come right out with a comb. Hope this helps!

I have a huge knot in my hair! How do I get it out? besides brushing?

OHHHH, ouch! Peanut butter!!! Oh, it really works, everytime!

I have a huge knot in my hair! How do I get it out? besides brushing?

PEANUT BUTTER !!!!!!!!!! IT WORKS EVER TIME . AFTER USING THE PEANUT BUTTER SHOWER AND WASH YOUR HAIR. HOWEVER IT IS BETTER TO LET IT AIR DRY

I have a huge knot in my hair! How do I get it out? besides brushing?

ok, since u probably don't want to cut it, get some peanut butter and work it through your hair. the peanut butter comes out with shampoo. When i got a knot though, i just used conditioner in the shower and worked it through the knot.

I have a huge knot in my hair! How do I get it out? besides brushing?

since you are allergic to peanut butter try some vasline or almond butter ( avaliable in dupermarkets) you can also try detangler .

I have a huge knot in my hair! How do I get it out? besides brushing?

I have heard that ice may help, but if it doesn't [and since you are allergic to peanut butter] use a type of oil, maybe coconut oil. Is the knot high on your head? If not I'd call it an excuse to go get a new haircut!!

How can I get my hair to obey?!?!?

I have this ugly un-even wave that will not go away!

My hair won't curl or straighten for me, I have very long-thick kinda frizzy hair.I've gotten suggestions to blow dry while slowly brushing with a round brush to sraighten, but all that did was take too long and not work at all.. I've used everything,I want my hair to be soft %26amp; smooth. ~*HELP ME*~

How can I get my hair to obey?!?!?

Oh the terrors of curly/wavy hair lol. I have long, thick, curly hair. I didnt say frizzy cause it is no more. I use a glosser on my hair after i get out of the shower. I towel dry it enough so that its not dripping anymore and then I put on the glosser. Put on enough so that you feel slippery all through your hair. It works really well as a detangler too. Go get one. Try the beauty supply stores first. They come in slightly different thicknesses and you should choose the one thats right for you hair. DO NOT give up!!!! I used to have frizzy hair that stuck up in all my school pictures. I got laughed at alot. You just have to find out whats right for you. Make sure you condition it in the shower too. And deep condition it once a week. I use cholesterol for the deep conditioning and pantene extra straight or smooth and sleek for the regular conditioning. I dont have frizzy hair anymore, but it is still thick, curly and now sexy. Try it. You might like it.

How can I get my hair to obey?!?!?

when you've tried to curl it did you use mousse or gel? that really helps me. if you try to wear it curly don't brush it just scrunch it. use olny conditioner. hope this helps !!!

How can I get my hair to obey?!?!?

You are talking about the hair that I suffered with for years until my hairdresser talked me in to getting it straightened. Now I LOVE my hair. Go get a consultation! Money well spent. Depending on how quickly your hair grows you would most likely need to have it done 2 or 3 times a year at around $200 each time.

What do you take with you like toiletries (for the shower) when you go to the swimming-pool ?

Me : body wash, deodorant, shampoo, flannel, hair brush, toothbrush and toothpaste.

What do you take with you like toiletries (for the shower) when you go to the swimming-pool ?

My towel!!! I'll have the shower at home! It is far more confortable and I don't have to carry everything with me (especially when I go to the pool just after school I wouldn't be able to carry everything with me)

What do you take with you like toiletries (for the shower) when you go to the swimming-pool ?

why would you brush your teeth everytime you go swimming?

shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body moisturiser, cleanser, toner, moisturiser.

What do you take with you like toiletries (for the shower) when you go to the swimming-pool ?

a dry set of clothes. I take a shower once I get back home.

I heard that brushing your hair when wet gives you split ends but...?

my hair is really curly and there is no way to style it once it is dry.

also if I brush it dry I look like a poodle!! What do I do to reduce my split ends?

I heard that brushing your hair when wet gives you split ends but...?

I have extremely curly hair, so I feel your pain. I have found that brushing it dry before I shower and combing it after is the best way to keep it healthy. This will keep the split ends down, because YES brushing wet curly hair will give you split ends.

I heard that brushing your hair when wet gives you split ends but...?

My hair si curly also.. so I style it like this.. when is wet and put some leave in conditioner to separate the curls, brush it.. then I use gel to define the curls because I love them... and I dont have split ends.

I heard that brushing your hair when wet gives you split ends but...?

Carefully pick it out with a large tooth comb. Then do your thing.

I heard that brushing your hair when wet gives you split ends but...?

1. use a product that will prote ct your hair from heat damage.

2. make sure it thickens your hair and prevents split ends too.

3. get a flar iron and staighten your hair

*once your hair is straighten there is no limit to what you can do

4. go out on the town and show off your new hairdo

I heard that brushing your hair when wet gives you split ends but...?

u just continue wut u do no matter wut evreybody will get split ends.

I heard that brushing your hair when wet gives you split ends but...?

Put some kind of styling gel on it while it is still wet, instead of brushing. My sister does that to her naturally curly hair, and it is beautiful!

I heard that brushing your hair when wet gives you split ends but...?

Comb your hair wet with a wide tooth comb to detangle it and then blow dry it. The you can straighten it.

I heard that brushing your hair when wet gives you split ends but...?

thats why you use a wide toothed comb. it reduces split ends so yea dont worry bout it, besides if you go the hair dressers every six weeks like what they recomend (or somthing like that) you dont have ta worry bout them pesky ends :]

I heard that brushing your hair when wet gives you split ends but...?

what kind of shampoo do you use ? if you don't already use it i would look at like ulta or some hair product store ( like maybe a salon) and buy some stuff that reduces the friz in your hair and if you don't like your curls then i would buy some stuff that reduces the curls and the friz. About the whole split ends thing i would ....... not brush your hair if you are gonna scrunch your hair. But brushing your hair does not give you split ends so if you aren't gonna scrunch your hair then feel free to brush you hair when its wet. Then if you are using some good shampoo that helps reduce the friz and the curls then it will reduce the curls and it won't be as frizzy so then you won't look like a poodle :)

Brusing hair daily?

i had read some where that it is not necessary to brush your hair daily so i stopped all together and my hair looks better than it ever has. is it bad though that i havent brushed my hair in awhile. i mean when i blow dry it i brush it but thats maybe once a month. is it healthy. what are the advantages for your hair to be brushed%26gt;??

Brusing hair daily?

It's more to make your hair look nice. Plus it depends on the length of your hair, if it's extremely short and there is virtually no risk of tangles, then no problem at all. However, if your hair is medium to long length, you will want to brush it to keep the tangles at bay. If you go to long without brushing your hair, you'll get a big tangly mess...yikes! :) Plus brushing helps you to get any loose hairs out that may have fallen out.....mostly good hygene

Brusing hair daily?

i think it is necessary.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

Brusing hair daily?

Yeah. Scalp stimulation and natural oil distribution.

Brusing hair daily?

Well, obviously it gets out the tangles. I could NEVER go without brushing my hair. I have REALLY thick hair, it would be a nightmare if I didn't brush it.

Brusing hair daily?

Do you comb it or anything? I can't imagine that your hair style can be that great if you aren't brushing or combing it...

Brusing hair daily?

wouldnt your hair get really ratty if you didnt brush it?

Brusing hair daily?

brushing your hair is good because it evenly distributes the oils from your scalp to the rest of your hair!

Brusing hair daily?

if you dont brush it, it will get really knotted and your hair will be like dread locks. plus its disgusting when people dont brush there hair because its all ratty. but by all means...do what you want.

Brusing hair daily?

I dont brush my hair either. I have slightly curly hair and it looks all frizzy and not curly anymore when I brush it. So just finger comb it after rinsing conditioner out of it in the shower.

Brusing hair daily?

Besides it looking tangled and nappy (which if it doesn't who cares) there should'nt be any problem with not brushing your hair since you say you brush it during blowdrying so the oils from your scalp are distributed trough out your hair then.

Brusing hair daily?

Brushing your hair removes the dead hairs and keeps it from turning into matts and dreadlocks. That is why you are supposed to frequently brush longhaired animals--to avoid painful matts and tangles.

Brushing also moves the healthy oils from your scalp down to the ends of your hair and helps prevent split ends, as well as keeping your hair naturally moisturized.

People will also look at you like you don't bathe if your hair is tangly, so there's an emotional disadvantage.

Brusing hair daily?

I would brush it once a day so it takes all the dead hairs away either evening morning or miday. An d when out of the shower.

Brusing hair daily?

I do the same thing because I can only brush my hair after I shower or when I straighten it because I have curly hair, and if I was to brush it, it would puff out :) but yeah my hair is so silky as pretty. when you brush it too much it tends to get really greasy really fast too

Brusing hair daily?

Even though brushing your hair to much might damage it, doesn't mean it's good, just leave it alone. It might seem that it's healthier but it really isn't. Your hair might get tangled and then your hair will be even more unhealthy. If you have anymore questions you might want to talk to a hair person.

Brusing hair daily?

It's true what everyone says about oil distribution and avoiding tangles, but you can finger-comb your hair instead of using a brush. I just comb mine out with a widetoothed comb while it's wet, and then finger-comb it to keep it looking neat. I don't brush it with a brush at all. Ever.

If your hair looks good, I wouldn't worry about it.

Brusing hair daily?

brushing hair.

it is good to brush your hair every day,it can grow longer and make you look more pretty.it'll be good from the inside and the outside.

people usually look at the outside of their hair if it looks pretty or not and it's not wrong but your hair from the inside won't be that good.

Brusing hair daily?

You should brush your hair daily at least once. If it's super curly and brushing makes it frizz, comb it with a wide toothed comb. You should wash your hair at least once a week. You should also brush your teeth at least twice a day.

Brusing hair daily?

That's great. I don't brush my hair everyday either. I brush it once a week. My hair is really long . I didn't stop because I heard it was good, I stopped because it takes too much time to brush my hair every morning. Don't listen to everyone else. If it has been working for you keep doing it.

Brusing hair daily?

It depends on how often you wash your hair.

We use to only take a bath once a month so we brushed everyday to remove dead skin and evenly distribute oils from our scalps.

Now that we wash our hair and use conditioner the need is not as great and can cause damage or loss.

You should use a comb at bed time to untangle you hair. Working from the bottom up.

So you should wash your hair at least once a week and comb your hair every night to release the tangles.

Use scalp massage to help in between washings to encourage growth.

Brusing hair daily?

It really depends on your hair type. curly hair shouldnt really be brushed much mainly because it will turn into a big poof ball. I have short hair and I never brush it. However if you have long hair, you should continue to brush. It stimulates the scalp which encourages healthy growth of the hair and exfoliates the dead skin off of your scalp. It also moves oil from your scalp to the ends of your hair (which for most people is always the driest). its best to do this before you wash your hair. Paddle brushes are great because they have a cooshy pad underneath the bristles and the bristles themselves arent really close together so it makes for easy brushing.

Eating lots of raw, uncooked spinach! It's loaded with vitamans hair loves! Stop spending $60 on shampoo, and just look for ones that have Vitamans D, E, and aloe added. Finally, don't brush your hair "often". Studies have shown this weakens your hair and makes it more 'lackluster'. Run a Brush through your hair before and after you shower, and then when you wake up, and JUST to get out any tangles and bedhead. Period. End of Story.
