How can I get my hair to obey?!?!?

I have this ugly un-even wave that will not go away!

My hair won't curl or straighten for me, I have very long-thick kinda frizzy hair.I've gotten suggestions to blow dry while slowly brushing with a round brush to sraighten, but all that did was take too long and not work at all.. I've used everything,I want my hair to be soft %26amp; smooth. ~*HELP ME*~

Oh the terrors of curly/wavy hair lol. I have long, thick, curly hair. I didnt say frizzy cause it is no more. I use a glosser on my hair after i get out of the shower. I towel dry it enough so that its not dripping anymore and then I put on the glosser. Put on enough so that you feel slippery all through your hair. It works really well as a detangler too. Go get one. Try the beauty supply stores first. They come in slightly different thicknesses and you should choose the one thats right for you hair. DO NOT give up!!!! I used to have frizzy hair that stuck up in all my school pictures. I got laughed at alot. You just have to find out whats right for you. Make sure you condition it in the shower too. And deep condition it once a week. I use cholesterol for the deep conditioning and pantene extra straight or smooth and sleek for the regular conditioning. I dont have frizzy hair anymore, but it is still thick, curly and now sexy. Try it. You might like it.

when you've tried to curl it did you use mousse or gel? that really helps me. if you try to wear it curly don't brush it just scrunch it. use olny conditioner. hope this helps !!!

You are talking about the hair that I suffered with for years until my hairdresser talked me in to getting it straightened. Now I LOVE my hair. Go get a consultation! Money well spent. Depending on how quickly your hair grows you would most likely need to have it done 2 or 3 times a year at around $200 each time.
