Best Brand for Anti-Static Hair Products?

Hi, I hate that my hair is always so static-y and flyaway in this cold season. Does anyone have a good remedy for this situation? I've heard that spraying hair spray or anti-static spray on a hairbrush before brushing hair helps.. Are there any good brands (tried and tested) that anyone is able to recommend?

Bedhead makes this spray called Control Freak that comes in a metallic green bottle (it should only be sold at beauty supply stores or salons, not places like Walgreens) and it works very well for smoothing. They also have a pink bottle with a green cap (I don't remember what it's called... Shine something I think) that not only smoothes a little but puts some shine in your hair. Its kind of expensive (like $15 a bottle) but if you catch it on sale you can usually get it with another product for less than usual. Tigi's root boost (in a metallic blue can and sold right near Bedhead--same parent company) also works well too but again is expensive. A cheaper alternative is spraying RAVE hairspray on your brush or into your hair and brushing it through, it holds like none other and can be gotten at Dollar General or Walmart for about two bucks (but I find it often makes your hair stiff, holds like none other but sometimes leaves that crispy look)

paul mitchell has a great serum that you run through your damp hair before blow drying (super skinny).. works everytime. redken has a great one too called heat glind. if you also use a polisher when your done blowdrying your hair.. to finish off your style it'll help with flyaways... I had the same problem and it makes all the difference now. I work in a salon and I highly recommend these products from personal use and on my clients. The clients love the smell of the products too which is a big thing to me cause they always are told their hair smells good and asked what they put in it.

hello ima hair colour specialist from brum uk ...the best advice i can give is to keep a pack of bounce tumble dryer sheets at home. when ure hair is static gentley run one over your hair and hey presto all the static is gone!!!!

The main thing that causes static is lack of moisture so i would suggest that you chage your consitioner and also keep a bowl of water next to your bed to keep moisture in the air xxxxxxx
