I'm getting my waist-length hair chopped?

I'm thinking of cutting it to the middle of my back (about 6-7 inches). Should I brush it all back or around a center part and then cut above a ponytail holder?? I want a blunt cut at the back but I currently have layers around my face.

Any advice??

Ok if you dont want your layers your gonna have to cut your hair to the smallest layer you have got then your hair will grow evenly. If you havent got the money ask a friend to help so she can see how the back looks and help if needed. Dont cut above the ponytail because you will end up with uneven bits Hope this helps.

You should cut a few more inches about 3 and donate to locks of love a lot of salons will do this for you and you will get a free or much less expensive hair cut out of the deal. Plus you will be helping someone with cancer.

my hair was to my butt and i got it all cut off to a bit below my shoulders...its strange at first...lol...uses to much shampoo...lol..

It's going to be hard working around that blunt cut at the back when you have layers around your face but anything goes. I don't think brushing it all back will work though, so opt for something else. That being said, Good Luck! :)

Fasten it with a pony tail and give it to the locks of love or whatever, where they use it to make wigs for people who need them. :) Then, you can shape it up and even it out after it's cut off. Make sure to blend the new ends into the layers.
