Brusing hair daily?

i had read some where that it is not necessary to brush your hair daily so i stopped all together and my hair looks better than it ever has. is it bad though that i havent brushed my hair in awhile. i mean when i blow dry it i brush it but thats maybe once a month. is it healthy. what are the advantages for your hair to be brushed%26gt;??

Brusing hair daily?

It's more to make your hair look nice. Plus it depends on the length of your hair, if it's extremely short and there is virtually no risk of tangles, then no problem at all. However, if your hair is medium to long length, you will want to brush it to keep the tangles at bay. If you go to long without brushing your hair, you'll get a big tangly mess...yikes! :) Plus brushing helps you to get any loose hairs out that may have fallen out.....mostly good hygene

Brusing hair daily?

i think it is necessary.

Brusing hair daily?

Yeah. Scalp stimulation and natural oil distribution.

Brusing hair daily?

Well, obviously it gets out the tangles. I could NEVER go without brushing my hair. I have REALLY thick hair, it would be a nightmare if I didn't brush it.

Brusing hair daily?

Do you comb it or anything? I can't imagine that your hair style can be that great if you aren't brushing or combing it...

Brusing hair daily?

wouldnt your hair get really ratty if you didnt brush it?

Brusing hair daily?

brushing your hair is good because it evenly distributes the oils from your scalp to the rest of your hair!

Brusing hair daily?

if you dont brush it, it will get really knotted and your hair will be like dread locks. plus its disgusting when people dont brush there hair because its all ratty. but by all means...do what you want.

Brusing hair daily?

I dont brush my hair either. I have slightly curly hair and it looks all frizzy and not curly anymore when I brush it. So just finger comb it after rinsing conditioner out of it in the shower.

Brusing hair daily?

Besides it looking tangled and nappy (which if it doesn't who cares) there should'nt be any problem with not brushing your hair since you say you brush it during blowdrying so the oils from your scalp are distributed trough out your hair then.

Brusing hair daily?

Brushing your hair removes the dead hairs and keeps it from turning into matts and dreadlocks. That is why you are supposed to frequently brush longhaired animals--to avoid painful matts and tangles.

Brushing also moves the healthy oils from your scalp down to the ends of your hair and helps prevent split ends, as well as keeping your hair naturally moisturized.

People will also look at you like you don't bathe if your hair is tangly, so there's an emotional disadvantage.

Brusing hair daily?

I would brush it once a day so it takes all the dead hairs away either evening morning or miday. An d when out of the shower.

Brusing hair daily?

I do the same thing because I can only brush my hair after I shower or when I straighten it because I have curly hair, and if I was to brush it, it would puff out :) but yeah my hair is so silky as pretty. when you brush it too much it tends to get really greasy really fast too

Brusing hair daily?

Even though brushing your hair to much might damage it, doesn't mean it's good, just leave it alone. It might seem that it's healthier but it really isn't. Your hair might get tangled and then your hair will be even more unhealthy. If you have anymore questions you might want to talk to a hair person.

Brusing hair daily?

It's true what everyone says about oil distribution and avoiding tangles, but you can finger-comb your hair instead of using a brush. I just comb mine out with a widetoothed comb while it's wet, and then finger-comb it to keep it looking neat. I don't brush it with a brush at all. Ever.

If your hair looks good, I wouldn't worry about it.

brushing hair.

it is good to brush your hair every day,it can grow longer and make you look more pretty.it'll be good from the inside and the outside.

people usually look at the outside of their hair if it looks pretty or not and it's not wrong but your hair from the inside won't be that good.

Brusing hair daily?

You should brush your hair daily at least once. If it's super curly and brushing makes it frizz, comb it with a wide toothed comb. You should wash your hair at least once a week. You should also brush your teeth at least twice a day.

Brusing hair daily?

That's great. I don't brush my hair everyday either. I brush it once a week. My hair is really long . I didn't stop because I heard it was good, I stopped because it takes too much time to brush my hair every morning. Don't listen to everyone else. If it has been working for you keep doing it.

Brusing hair daily?

It depends on how often you wash your hair.

We use to only take a bath once a month so we brushed everyday to remove dead skin and evenly distribute oils from our scalps.

Now that we wash our hair and use conditioner the need is not as great and can cause damage or loss.

You should use a comb at bed time to untangle you hair. Working from the bottom up.

So you should wash your hair at least once a week and comb your hair every night to release the tangles.

Use scalp massage to help in between washings to encourage growth.

It really depends on your hair type. curly hair shouldnt really be brushed much mainly because it will turn into a big poof ball. I have short hair and I never brush it. However if you have long hair, you should continue to brush. It stimulates the scalp which encourages healthy growth of the hair and exfoliates the dead skin off of your scalp. It also moves oil from your scalp to the ends of your hair (which for most people is always the driest). its best to do this before you wash your hair. Paddle brushes are great because they have a cooshy pad underneath the bristles and the bristles themselves arent really close together so it makes for easy brushing.
