Hot water and soap. Soak it if you have to.

i fill my sink with hot water and add the shampoo i am currently using ... i let the brushes sit for a couple hours and they do come clean. you may have to pull out the hair etc but the brushes come out great.
What is the best way to get hairspray out of your hair brush?
I usually boil it at a low temperature for about 10 minutes, then rinse it off after I take it out with cool water. The hairspray comes right off.
