How to brush a wig?

I got a wig for my daughters costume. It is a shorthaired black wig (snow white). It looked great on the package. Nice and tame. When I pulled it out of the bag it is frizzed and I can't even find where the front it. (the bangs are just a bit shorter then the back of the hair.) Does anyone know how to make it look like hair. To brush it?

i would soak it in warm dish water then pull it out after ten min then add conditioner from root to end and place it on something in the shape of a head and get a wide tooth comb and start from the bottom of the hair to the top gently combing it and let it air dry with curlers on all the ends place so the curls go inward

Just use your hand first to figure out how should you brush it with a comb. Have fun!

it's probably a cheap synthetic material, so don't use too much force when brushing it. put it on her head, and then use your fingers to put the style you want into it. then just hairspray it. that way, you know what it looks like when she wears it. good luck!

i watch my mom brush hers... you have to hold the wig by the base so not much hair falls out and gently brush the top and gradually start working down
