Middle School Survival **PLEASE HELP***!!!!!!!!?

What should I take in my book bag on the first day of school? I know binders, pencils, pens, highlighters, paper, and all the school supplies but I'm not talking about that. I mean stuff like clothes for gym class, pads, a hair brush or whatever. IDK what to do... I think the first day of middle school is August 20-something so I know I have tons of time, I just want to be prepared. Also, any other tips are appreciated too. Thanks in advance.

Hahaha Middle School is NOT that bad. You should have your bookbag and have a smaller bag for your pads (ALWAYS bring one with you; just in case!!!) and lipgloss or whatever. You will not be dressing out for gym for a week or more, so don't worry. On the first day, just have your bookbag, a notebook, a pen and pencil. You're good to go! =)

If you have gym then bring clothes, just in case. Also, bring some deodorant and body spray so you don't stink. You don't need pads unless you happen to be on your period at the time, and a hair brush seems over the top...unless you brush your hair ritualistically.

Wow kiddo, relax. The first day will not really be anything more than likely. It could not hurt to take a book bag with a note pad and pens/pencils. If YOU want to take a brush etc that is completely your choice. Most likely you wont really do anything in your gym class the first day, just get an introduction to the class and your teacher. The key thing in school is be nice to your peers (the geeks turn out to be the most successful in the future usually), study HARD, and stay involved. I wish I had done more of all those things. Don't worry, you'll do just fine, but usually on the first day of school, you don't need anything. You just meet your teachers and stuff. Good Luck!:)

my only suggestion, take it from a 7th grader, is that one very important thing for middle school is a cell phone, you may not have to call someone but u may have to so its good to be prepared, and also most kids have one and it helps to fit in. :)
