I keep an elastic hairtie around my wrist at all times precisely for these occasions. then just pull it all up in a big ol loose knot and pretend it's messy on purpose :)

I always have a band around my wrist just in case. You can tie your hair up with it either neatly or messy-like. Now a days, you can't tell whether the messy do was on purpose or not! Everything goes girl!

I don't know: there's no possible way I ever could have a bad hair day. My hair's too long, it just lays straight.
